Whitmer<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>(1) Silas Young (c) vs. Cheeseburger &#8211;\u00a0ROH TV Title Match<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cheese is on offense straight out of the gate with a dropkick sending Silas into the corner and then a series of stomps.\u00a0 Silas tries to fight back but Cheese takes him to the outside for a series of chops.\u00a0 Silas gets Cheese back into the ring but Cheese takes it back outside and hits Silas with a high cross and a flying stomp off the apron.\u00a0 Back in the ring Silas clotheslines Cheese, lays in some chops, and then locks in a chinlock.\u00a0 Cheese blocks a suplex as he attempts to fight back.\u00a0 Dueling suplex attempts are met by blocks.\u00a0 Cheese eventually wins the suplex battle.\u00a0 Springboard senton gets Cheese two.\u00a0 The Shotei palm strike gets Cheese another 2 count.\u00a0 Front Face DDT by Cheese as he goes for a cover but Silas gets his foot on the bottom rope.\u00a0 They trade blows before Silas gets a crucifix pin for the 3 count and a successful title defense.<\/p>\n<p>WINNER: Silas Young<\/p>\n<p><em>Ursin&#8217;s Analysis:\u00a0 I&#8217;m a fan of Cheeseburger but I don&#8217;t like when he&#8217;s used in this manner.\u00a0 It&#8217;s completely unbelievable that he would have any chance against Silas Young.\u00a0 I expected a squash.\u00a0 I really didn&#8217;t think Cheeseburger would get this much offense in.\u00a0 (*)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Post-Match:\u00a0 Bully Ray comes down to the ring and cuts a promo on cheese.\u00a0 Similar to his Supercard of Honor promo but a truncated version.\u00a0 He calls Cheese, &#8220;A piece of crap&#8221; and says, &#8220;You never paid your dues in the wrestling biz&#8221; but now Bully says Cheeseburger is going to pay his dues to Bully.\u00a0 Cheeseburger gets on the mic and says, &#8220;You&#8217;re not only a Bully but you&#8217;re an asshole.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Bully Ray chokeslam to Cheese.\u00a0 Flip makes the save but both guys take a double clothesline from Bully Ray.\u00a0 Bully then flips off the crowd.\u00a0 On his way out he curses at some fans in the front row.<\/p>\n<p><em>Ursin&#8217;s Analysis:\u00a0 Seems like they were trying a little too hard with this.<\/em><\/p><div id=\"pwtor-3773519557\" class=\"pwtor-content pwtor-entity-placement\"><div align=\"center\" data-freestar-ad=\"__336x280 __336x280\" id=\"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\">\r\n  <script data-cfasync=\"false\" type=\"text\/javascript\">\r\n    freestar.config.enabled_slots.push({ placementName: \"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\", slotId: \"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\" });\r\n  <\/script>\r\n<\/div><\/div>\n<p>(Caprice out and Mandy Leon in on commentary for the next match)<\/p>\n<p><strong>(2) Deonna Purazzo &amp; Tenille Dashwood &amp; WOH Champion Sumi Sakai vs. Jenny Rose &amp; Madison Rayne &amp; Brandi Rhodes w\/Bernard The Business Bear.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tenille starts off with Madison.\u00a0 Series of standing switches then trading shoulder tackles.\u00a0 Schoolgirl gets 2 for Tenille.\u00a0 They tag out and its Jenny Rose in with Sumi.\u00a0 Sumi gets an inside cradle for 2.\u00a0 Sumi tags in Deonna and Jenny tags in Brandi.\u00a0 Deonna goes for a move but Bernard grabs her leg.\u00a0 Brandi hits a dropkick and some chops.\u00a0 Really sloppy looking slingblade by Brandi who tags in Madison.\u00a0 Madison with a very sloppy boot to the head.\u00a0 Jenny Rose tagged in for her team with a snap suplex that gets two.\u00a0 Brandi back in with a Facebuster for 2.\u00a0 Tenille kicks Bernard down.\u00a0 Deonna hits a cannonball off the apron.\u00a0 Sumi flies and takes out everyone then gets into the ring with Brandi and hits her rolling cutter finisher for the pin.<\/p>\n<p>WINNER: Sumi &amp; Purazzo &amp; Dashwood.<\/p>\n<p><em>Ursin&#8217;s Analysis:\u00a0 Sloppy and all over the place.\u00a0 But quick. (*)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Post-Match:\u00a0 Deonna calls out Kelly Klein who appears on the stage.\u00a0 Kelly says she will beat Deonna and Deonna calls Kelly a bitch.\u00a0 This was terrible mic work as both women were interrupting each other.<\/p>\n<p>Mandy Leon out and Caprice back in on commentary.<\/p>\n<p><strong>(3) So Cal Uncensored (w\/Shane Taylor) vs. The Young Bucks (w\/Flip Gordon, Hangman Page)<\/strong><\/p><div id=\"pwtor-2718135809\" class=\"pwtor-content-1 pwtor-entity-placement\"><!-- Tag ID: pwtorchcom_test_300x600 -->\r\n<div align=\"center\" data-freestar-ad=\"__336x280 __300x600\" id=\"pwtorchcom_test_300x600\">\r\n  <script data-cfasync=\"false\" type=\"text\/javascript\">\r\n    freestar.config.enabled_slots.push({ placementName: \"pwtorchcom_test_300x600\", slotId: \"pwtorchcom_test_300x600\" });\r\n  <\/script>\r\n<\/div><\/div>\n<p>Nice hometown pop for Shane Taylor who grew up a couple hours north of Columbus in Cleveland.\u00a0 Nice pop for Flip as a &#8220;FLIP&#8221; chant breaks out and then a huge pop for The Young Bucks as a &#8220;THE ELITE&#8221; chant breaks out. Heels powder outside the ring during the babyface entrance and go over the gameplan.\u00a0Daniels starts with Flip.\u00a0 Daniels facelock then shoulder tackle then a spot where Flip ducks multiple clotheslines with his handspring move.\u00a0 Flip into a handstand then lands a dropkick.\u00a0 Tag outs to Page and Kaz who trade fists and then both collapse. Young Bucks hit the ring with their double team offense.\u00a0 Matt ends up in the ring with SHane who take out both Bucks.\u00a0 Shane hits a fall away slam to Flip.\u00a0 SPOT OF THE NIGHT WATCH: Everyone gets in the ring and triangle chokes each other forming a long line of bodies.\u00a0 No room left in the ring for Page to get in on the action so he grabs the last person in the line (Shane) by the legs and turns the entire line over into a liontamer!\u00a0 Page backdrop to Daniels.\u00a0 Now Flip is in with The Fallen Angel.\u00a0 Shane takes Flip out and hits the leg drop on the apron.\u00a0 Looked fantastic!\u00a0 Kaz is now in the ring with Flip.\u00a0 Snap Suplex only gets 1.\u00a0 Shane runs in with a leg drop to Flip.\u00a0 Shane elbows Flip and he bumps hard in the ring for it.\u00a0 Shane hits a bodyslam and then we get lots of combined offense from the So Cal team.\u00a0 Splash by Shane gets a 2 count.\u00a0 Kaz in the ring with Flip but Daniels tosses Flip out of the ring.\u00a0 Flip outside hits a springboard moonsault off the guardrail and takes out So Cal.\u00a0 Kaz gets Flip back in the ring in a half crab.\u00a0 Page in with a dropkick to Daniels and a standing moonsault for 2.\u00a0 Page hits a Shooting Star press on Shane.\u00a0 Slingshot Cutter to Page by Kaz and both men are down.\u00a0 Bucks in with Scorpio and Daniels for a sequence of too quick to call spots where The Bucks get a lot of their stuff in.\u00a0 Page hits the Buckshot Lariat.\u00a0 Daniels lands Angel&#8221;s Wings. But the Bucks Superkick everyone! \u00a0Page misses a moonsault and everyone misses a series of top rope moves!!!\u00a0 Page hits a powerbomb on Shane.\u00a0 Bucks hit multiple superkicks and take everyone out again and then it&#8217;s time for Rite of Passage Super Meltzer Driver to Daniels for the win.<\/p>\n<p>WINNERS: Young Bucks.<\/p>\n<p><em>Ursin&#8217;s Analysis:\u00a0 Great stuff from start to finish.\u00a0 Everyone looked really good.\u00a0 The match of the night and probably what most fans paid for.\u00a0 They got their moneys worth. (****)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Intermission<\/p>\n<p><strong>(4) The Briscoe Brothers (c) vs. &#8220;The Besties In The World&#8221; Mat Fitchett &amp; Davey Vega &#8211;\u00a0ROH World Tag Team Title Match<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re told by the commentary team that the opponents for the Briscoes won a #1 contender match eearlier in the night that was taped and would be shown on TV at a later date (????)\u00a0 Briscoes double attack at the bell and the squash ends via submission.<\/p>\n<p>WINNERS: Briscoes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>(5) Jay Lethal vs. Jonathan Gresham<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>They trade holds at the beginning.\u00a0 Gresham with a cradle but Lethal slides out.\u00a0 Gresham with a crucifix for 2.\u00a0 Gresham with a hammer lock goes for a pin and gets 2.\u00a0 Basement dropkick by Lethal.\u00a0 They trade chops and forearms.\u00a0 Lethal dropkick to the knee and Gresham goes outside.\u00a0 Lethal goes to work on the knees.\u00a0 A pin attempt gets 1.\u00a0 Gresham fights back and works Lethal&#8217;s arm.\u00a0 Both fight for a suplex but Gresham goes back to the arm.\u00a0 Lethal gets Gresham up in a suplex but both men tumble over the top rope and out to the floor.\u00a0 They trade chops and blows on the outside.\u00a0 Back in the ring a Gresham enzuigiri and German suplex gets 2.\u00a0 Lethal Combination gets 2.\u00a0 Lethal Injection misses.\u00a0 Gresham fights to lock in the Octopus Hold.\u00a0 Lethal slips out of it and locks in a Figure Four.\u00a0 Gresham reverses into an armbar.\u00a0 Lethal makes it to the ropes.\u00a0 They go back to trading blows.\u00a0 Gresham hits a snap German.\u00a0 Lethal tries the Lethal Injection but falls.\u00a0 Gresham goes for a pin but Lethal rolls through for a pin of his own and the 3 count.<\/p>\n<p>WINNER:\u00a0 Jay Lethal<\/p>\n<p>Post-Match:\u00a0 Lethal cuts a promo putting over his and Gresham&#8217;s ring work.\u00a0 Gresham challenges Lethal to another match and Lethal accepts with a handshake.<\/p>\n<p><em>Ursin&#8217;s Analysis:\u00a0 Fine technical match but lacked the super strong selling a match like this needs to really get over (***)\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>(6) Matt Taven vs. Cody &#8211;\u00a0First Blood Match<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cody gets pops and &#8220;CODY&#8221; chants which is strange since he was the biggest heel ever in New Orleans just one week ago.\u00a0 Tells me the fans really don&#8217;t care about Matt Taven.\u00a0 TKO Ryan is at ringside.\u00a0 Cody punches him and busts him open with &#8220;The Ring of Honor.&#8221;\u00a0 Codu hits a disaster kick on Taven.\u00a0 Taven bails as Cody tries to call him back into the ring.\u00a0 Taven back in for Cody to hit a release suplex and toss him outside where Cody goes to wrok draggin Taven&#8217;s face along the guardrail to try and draw blood.\u00a0 Cody then throws Taven through the guardrail.\u00a0 Taven gets hold of the &#8220;Ring of Honor&#8221; and jacks Cody with it and takes control.\u00a0 Cody fights back and hits a float over powerslam.\u00a0 Cody gets a chair but Taven hits Cody with a roll of quarters.\u00a0 They then begin a series of spots where they throw the chair at each other&#8217;s head.\u00a0 Taven sets up a table in the ring.\u00a0 Cody tries a top rope move but Taven dodges and Cody goes through the table.\u00a0 Taven breaks off a piece of the table.\u00a0 Cody hits a jawbreaker.\u00a0 Both are down.\u00a0 Vinny Marseglia appears&#8230;with an axe.\u00a0 Yes, an axe.\u00a0 Taven gets the axe and tries to cut Cody with it but Brandi low blows Taven, grabs the axe, and chases Vinny out of the building.\u00a0 Cody hits Cross Rhodes on Taven&#8217;s NWA World Historic Welterweight Championship belt&#8230;but Cody&#8217;s hand is cut open.<\/p>\n<p>WINNER: Matt Taven<\/p>\n<p><em>Ursin&#8217;s Analysis:\u00a0 Really bad (DUD)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>(7) ROH World Champion Dalton Castle vs. Beer City Bruiser vs. Marty Scurll vs. Punishment Martinez.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In what I can only describe as one of the most overly confusing stipulations in pro wrestling history, this is single elimination.\u00a0 Whomever wins is guaranteed a title shot.\u00a0 Whomever is pinned last can never get a title shot as long as Dalton Castle is the champion.\u00a0 If you pin Dalton Castle you don&#8217;t win the belt.\u00a0 If someone pins Dalton Castle but then gets pinned themselves, they get nothing.\u00a0 It&#8217;s like the Pandora&#8217;s Box of wrestling stips.<\/p>\n<p>All the guys jump Dalton.\u00a0 Marty and Bruiser go after Martinez.\u00a0 Marty and Castle are left in the ring to trade blows.\u00a0 Bruiser runs in with a double clothesline.\u00a0 Now it&#8217;s Martinez and Bruiser&#8217;s turn in the ring to trade punches.\u00a0 Martinez with a spinning heel kick that takes out Bruiser.\u00a0 Dalton and Scurll work together to beat up Martinez then work together to take it to Bruiser.Marty cradles Castle for 2.\u00a0 Martinez climbs to the top rope &#8230;with absolutely no one around him&#8230;???\u00a0 Castle runs over and knees him.\u00a0 Marty is in the ring chopping away at Bruiser then hits him with a tornado DDT.\u00a0 Castle hits a deadlift German on Bruiser.\u00a0 Martinez hits a spinning heel kick to Castle from the top rope.\u00a0 Bruiser hits a top rope splash to Castle for 2.\u00a0 Martinez powerbomb to Bruiser and Castle.\u00a0 Scurll hits a brainbuster on Martinez.\u00a0 Brian Milonas enters the ring and we go through a segment where he taunts Dalton and The Boys.\u00a0 Everyone ends up doing moves to each other for the big car crash pileup spot outside the ring.\u00a0 Martinez hits the South of Heaven chokelsam to Bruiser.\u00a0 Beer City Bruiser is eliminated.\u00a0 Martinez curbstomp to Scurll who rolls out of the ring.\u00a0 Martinez Psychodriver to Dalton gets 2.\u00a0 Dalton is up and hits the Bangarang to Martinez for 3.\u00a0 Punishment Martinez is eliminated.\u00a0 Only Castle and Scurll are left.\u00a0 Scurll does the finger break spot getting &#8220;YOU SICK FUCK&#8221;
