The company makes desperate play after desperate play to make him your favorite graps guy &#8211; with limited success. How do they do it? What do they do?<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m <b>Tom Colohue<\/b> and this is the <b>Monday Night Reigns-o-Meter.<\/b><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><b>Monday Night Reigns-o-Meter<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Let this sink in for a moment. Roman Reigns has held almost everything that it is possible to hold in WWE. He\u2019s held tag title belts. He\u2019s held the Intercontinental Championship while its owner was off making a movie. He\u2019s held the U.S. Title over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. He\u2019s held the top title three times over a total accrued time of about six months. But there is one thing still missing.<\/p>\n<p>Roman Reigns has never held a briefcase. Let that sink in for a moment.<\/p>\n<p>All sunk in? Great, briefcases are stupid anyway. Who wants a briefcase when you can have a big bulky chest protector and a beard?<\/p>\n<p>This week Roman played the role that people like him to play; a mean-spirited, carnage-loving flat-track bully. And you know, the crowd lapped it up for the most part. Every time a boo set in there was a countering scream ready to go. Roman cut a brief promo, insulting the courageous, heroic Jinder Mahal before attacking Jinder\u2019s brother and ally Sunil Singh.<\/p>\n<p>As you might expect, despite taking a cheap shot early in the match from the cruel and ruthless Roman Reigns, Mahal would protect his friend. He would fight back against the bully who has thrown him through walls without provocation and deliver a devastating Khallas.<\/p>\n<p>Is it Khallas? Callas? You know the one. Don Callis.<\/p>\n<p>Now we all know that Jinder Mahal has been victimized lately. Roman\u2019s ally Seth Rollins recently assaulted him with a chair because he couldn\u2019t beat our truly great champion. Mahal would be an Intercontinental Champion right now if not for the brutality of the former Shield members. The evil bullies.<\/p>\n<p>Naturally next week Jinder will be presenting the completely original concept of a Moment of Bliss to the WWE Universe and his one-point-three billion completely-not-imaginary fans.<\/p>\n<p>Really, this feud couldn\u2019t be any more by the numbers. Will this go all the way to Summerslam? Being fair, there\u2019s no better way to keep Roman out of the top spots than to have him tangling with the most recent former WWE Champion. As the Money in the Bank crowd will be naturally anti-Roman, as infamously smark-heavy Chicago always is, we could even see Jinder Mahal get cheered all the way through.<\/p>\n<p>Wouldn\u2019t that look good in India? They wouldn\u2019t even how to doctor the footage like they usually do over there.<\/p>\n<p>Not much Roman this week but honestly after the truly dark days of a Romanless Raw that we had only a couple of weeks ago I\u2019ll take a show that has Roman pick up a victory and get ever so slightly beaten up.
