And, don’t worry! I’ll be at my destination and on the air with Andrew Soucek on the Thursday Livecast immediately following Impact tonight!)

— Highlights of last week’s show aired.

— The Impact opened graphic aired.

(1) Killer Kross beat Petey Williams via submission

McMahon: Good match for Kross, and I’m glad they’re getting the Williams match out of the way here and not on the pay per view. Drake has now re-signed with the company, but it’s pretty obvious over the last few weeks, especially here, that they didn’t think that was going to be the case. Drake losing to Joe Hendry? Wow.

— Eddie Edwards attacked a referee before Andrew Everett and Dezmond Xavier could begin their match, and then cut a promo on Tommy Dreamer ahead of their match on Sunday.

— Madison Rayne was stuck in a dream, or a nightmare, from some sort of spell cast on her by Su Yung. Madison was in a funeral home, and quickly realized that she was in a casket. Looking at herself in the casket, a man appeared behind her in Su Yung makeup and told her that her time had come. Then there was a little girl who looked at Madison and said, “Your time as come” … Madison then wakes up in a field where she was left last week. Su Yung and the undead bridesmaids appear, shouting that “Your time as come!” at Madison.

(4) Sami Callihan beat Greg Osborne

McMahon: This is beginning to feel like an early-90’s episode of WWF Superstars. I’m all for squash matches, but nothing in the ring feels like it has any consequence, and the show has been loaded with hype video packages. I’m OK with the approach, but this show feels like it’s being produced in a vastly different way than most of the other weekly shows.

(5) Kiera Hogan & Allie beat Shotzi Blackheart & Tessa Blanchard

— OVE was looking for Pentagon backstage.

— A vignette aired for a new knockout to debut next week … her name is Scarlett Bourdeaux.

— OVE was still looking for Pentagon but they couldn’t find Callihan. They find Callihan wearing a Pentagon mask, tied to a chair. As they go to untie him, Pentagon jumps out and attacks the Crists. Pentagon then hits Callihan with Ciero Miedo.

— Moose came to the ring and called out Austin Aries. Moose said it was his time. Aries didn’t come out in front of the live crowd when Moose called him out, and instead appeared on the screen from backstage. Aries said Moose would have to wait until Slammiversary because he wouldn’t come out tonight to the ring. As he told Moose to, “keep eyes in the back of your head,” Aries snuck into the ring from the crowd behind Moose’s back and then attacked Moose with a low blow and a chair. Moose picked up Aries and threw him into the turnbuckle. Moose swung and missed with a chair and Aries grabbed the Impact Title and scrambled back into the crowd. Moose’s music played as Aries slowly backed up the aisle.

— Impact aired one last hype video for Slammiversary.

THANK YOU FOR VISITING

MCMAHON’S IMPACT WRESTLING REPORT July 19, 2018 Taped from Windsor, Ontario (St. Clair College) Aired on Pop TV Announcers: Josh Mathews & Don Callis (McMahon: Just a heads up guys, I’m traveling while writing this […]

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false

46,18,21

post-63345","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-spotlightarticles","category-tvshowsandevents","category-tv_tnareports
["GET
