EST<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>BY FRANK PETEANI (@FrankPeteani), PWTORCH SPECIALIST<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Arena \/ Recap of Last Week \/ Items Advertised by WWE<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>WWE returns to the Enterprise Center (formerly Scottrade Center) for Smackdown after Raw appeared in April on this year.\u00a0 We\u2019ll wrap up the build to this coming Sunday\u2019s Survivor Series from the Smackdown side tonight and get ready for a big weekend which will also feature NXT TakeOver: WarGames on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, we learned that Daniel Bryan and the Miz would co-captain the men\u2019s Survivor Series team.\u00a0 They mutually chose World Cup winner Shane McMahon for the team, who humbly said he\u2019s not necessarily the best in the world (glad he said it).\u00a0 Rey Mysterio joined the team after defeating Andrade \u201cCien\u201d Almas; however, he was treated to an RKO out of nowhere by Randy Orton.\u00a0 Samoa Joe rounded out the squad by defeating Jeff Hardy in the main event, after which chaos broke out.\u00a0 Joe and Bryan got into it which lead to Joe being put in the Yes lock, to be broken up by the Miz, which lead to Miz and Bryan going at it and eventually Bryan and Shane.\u00a0 The show ended with Bryan going up the ramp staring at Miz, Joe, and Shane in the ring.<\/p>\n<p>As far as the women\u2019s team we learned that it will consist of Sonya Deville, Asuka, Naomi, Carmella, and Charlotte Flair.\u00a0 When Paige announced Charlotte, she didn\u2019t come out.\u00a0 Mandy Rose came out instead and had words for all women in the ring, which lead to a brawl when Mandy essentially commented to Naomi about her marriage to Jimmy Uso.<\/p>\n<p>Now what is confusing is when the Raw announcers were discussing the match last night, they showed Charlotte\u2019s spot as blank.\u00a0 Granted she initially declined G.M. Paige\u2019s offer to captain the team, but she was announced as a teammate last week.\u00a0 Even though Mandy Rose came out instead of Charlotte, she clarified she wasn\u2019t taking Charlotte\u2019s place.\u00a0 Charlotte came out with the Smackdown women during their attack on the Raw women\u2019s roster to close out the show, which furthered the confusion.\u00a0 We\u2019ll get clarification tonight.\u00a0 Speaking of the invasion it ended when Smackdown Women\u2019s Champion Becky Lynch left the ring with a bloody nose after she initially attacked Raw Women\u2019s Champion Ronda Rousey in the back and joined the brawl later on.\u00a0 Words cannot do justice to the visual of what we saw last night, and so here\u2019s the clip:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/OLzeX81TGTc\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>WWE Champion essentially guaranteed victory over Universal Champion Brock Lesnar when he said beating him is \u201cnot a prediction, it\u2019s a spoiler,\u201d stealing Paul Heyman\u2019s line.\u00a0 The Usos defeated New Day for the right to captain the Survivor Series tag team back; however, they would ask New Day to join them on the team following the match citing their long rivalry.\u00a0 New Day accepted in a show of respect on both teams\u2019 part.<\/p>\n<p>Back to Becky Lynch, she rebutted Ronda Rousey\u2019s promo last week and said she was looking for a fight.\u00a0 Sanity, whom we haven\u2019t seen in quite a long time, came out only to introduce NXT\u2019s Nikki Cross whom had been a part of Sanity when they were all in NXT.\u00a0 Becky came out victorious in a competitive match.<\/p>\n<p>Thus far, <a href=\"http:\/\/wwe.com\/\">WWE.com<\/a> has advertised these items for tonight:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How will Raw react to Becky Lynch\u2019s invasion?<\/li>\n<li>Can the men\u2019s Survivor Series team get on the same page?<\/li>\n<li>Will Charlotte Flair captain the women\u2019s team this Sunday<\/li>\n<li>Who will join the Usos and New Day at Survivor Series?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At the moment, no matches have been announced.<\/p><div id=\"pwtor-173985970\" class=\"pwtor-content pwtor-entity-placement\"><div align=\"center\" data-freestar-ad=\"__336x280 __336x280\" id=\"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\">\r\n  <script data-cfasync=\"false\" type=\"text\/javascript\">\r\n    freestar.config.enabled_slots.push({ placementName: \"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\", slotId: \"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\" });\r\n  <\/script>\r\n<\/div><\/div>\n<h3><strong>Raw Response to Becky Lynch\u2019s Invasion<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>As I talked about earlier, Becky Lynch attacked Ronda Rousey in the back and put her in the Disarm-her.\u00a0 She later came out to the ring with the Raw women\u2019s roster waiting.\u00a0 The Smackdown women, including Becky\u2019s \u201cformer friend\u201d Charlotte Flair, appeared out of nowhere and a brawl broke out.\u00a0 Smackdown commissioner Shane McMahon had a little smack talk for Raw on Twitter:<\/p>\n<div class=\"embed-twitter\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Hey Steph, you\u2019re welcome for the help&#8230;.We just made <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Raw?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Raw<\/a> better! <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/SDLive?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#SDLive<\/a> Women rule! \ud83d\ude02<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Shane McMahon (@shanemcmahon) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/shanemcmahon\/status\/1062199156129910786?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 13, 2018<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/div>\n<p>Somewhere amidst the brawl Becky got a broken nose, which you can see in the clip I included earlier.\u00a0 She hit Ronda with a chair twice, much to the delight of the crowd.\u00a0 The Smackdown women would leave through the crowd and Becky stood at the top of the arena, bloody nose and all.\u00a0 Here\u2019s a photo from Twitter:<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/BeckyLynchWWE\/status\/1062231777253748736<\/p>\n<p>As one could expect, Raw commissioner Stephanie McMahon emasculated interim G.M. Baron Corbin for allowing this to happen at the close of Raw.\u00a0 She questioned what he\u2019s going to do about it.\u00a0 Tonight, we can expect some level of response.<\/p>\n<p><em>Frank\u2019s Analysis:\u00a0 It\u2019s brand supremacy season folks so we have to get our dose of Stephanie emasculating her G.M.\u2019s and putting things she\u2019s responsible for on them, such as allowing the Smackdown roster to attend Raw.\u00a0 Aren\u2019t you part of management that requires them to be there?\u00a0 In either case in the brand split era 2.0 we tend to get invasions of one roster to the other.\u00a0 As far as the response tonight it\u2019s just a matter of whether it\u2019s the women or the men or both.\u00a0 I\u2019m not worried about the invasion, but rather Charlotte and Becky essentially being on the same page last night following their intense feud which ended just a few weeks ago.\u00a0 If they were trying to keep us in suspense about her being on the team, much less being the captain, her coming out as basically part of the Smackdown furniture doesn\u2019t do the story any favors.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>More importantly, Becky certainly came out as the more popular figure, especially after Ronda Rousey\u2019s incredibly tone-deaf promo earlier in the evening.\u00a0 As far as Becky walking out of the ring with the bloody nose, you could essentially harken back to \u201cStone Cold\u201d Steve Austin when he was bleeding in his historic match with Bret \u201cHit Man\u201d Hart from WrestleMania XIII.\u00a0 That match solidified him as a top star and last night did the same for Becky, if she wasn\u2019t a top star already.\u00a0 Speaking of the tone-deaf promo, here it is.\u00a0 I\u2019m sorry but people don\u2019t talk like this, but apparently Ronda does: <\/em><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/XpRVCVeW_UA\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Men\u2019s Survivor Series Team<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>I discussed the men\u2019s Survivor Series team earlier.\u00a0 It will be co-captains Daniel Bryan &amp; The Miz, Shane McMahon, Rey Mysterio, and Samoa Joe vs. Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre, Finn Balor, and Bobby Lashley.\u00a0 Last night on Raw, Balor was selected by Stephanie McMahon and Baron Corbin.\u00a0 Lashley won a match with assistance from Lio Rush via count out over Elias to earn his way onto the Raw team.<\/p>\n<p>The Smackdown team ended the night in disarray as I discussed earlier.\u00a0 Mysterio was attacked by Orton following his victory over Andrade \u201cCien\u201d Almas.\u00a0 Tonight, we\u2019ll see how the team comes together if at all.<\/p>\n<p><em>Frank\u2019s Analysis:\u00a0 There\u2019s a number of ways they can go here.\u00a0 The key here would be Shane McMahon.\u00a0 It was fair to question whether or not his World Cup victory was meant to be a heel turn.\u00a0 Last week, he appeared to try and be more sympathetic in his being humble about the win, but of course had to throw in the line about not letting Raw have the World Cup.\u00a0 I don\u2019t read too much into that because it\u2019s \u201cbrand supremacy\u201d season so that line is expected.\u00a0 It was interesting to see Shane stand side by side with the heels in the ring as Daniel Bryan was leaving to close the show.\u00a0 I got the sense the story is going to eventually be about Bryan and Shane.\u00a0 They do have history with Bryan being the Smackdown G.M. before his return to active competition.\u00a0 Whether or not that\u2019s called upon is anyone\u2019s guess, but you can sense the story is with Shane and Bryan, depending on where things lie with the Miz and Samoa Joe. <\/em><\/p><div id=\"pwtor-3864089773\" class=\"pwtor-content-1 pwtor-entity-placement\"><!-- Tag ID: pwtorchcom_test_300x600 -->\r\n<div align=\"center\" data-freestar-ad=\"__336x280 __300x600\" id=\"pwtorchcom_test_300x600\">\r\n  <script data-cfasync=\"false\" type=\"text\/javascript\">\r\n    freestar.config.enabled_slots.push({ placementName: \"pwtorchcom_test_300x600\", slotId: \"pwtorchcom_test_300x600\" });\r\n  <\/script>\r\n<\/div><\/div>\n<p><em>As far as what they do tonight, they could pair the babyfaces (Bryan &amp; WOOOO! <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/raw?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#raw<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/aySMABNsEc\">pic.twitter.com\/aySMABNsEc<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Charlotte Flair (@MsCharlotteWWE) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MsCharlotteWWE\/status\/1062210139674083329?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 13, 2018<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Tonight, we will find out if she indeed will captain the team.<\/p>\n<p><em>Frank\u2019s Analysis:\u00a0 With Becky Lynch\u2019s popularity soaring, especially after last night, you wonder if they are changing course with Charlotte and turning her heel.\u00a0 It could have been part of the plan all along as turning her heel initially in this storyline would likely have not worked as well as what they\u2019ve done with Becky.\u00a0 There was a sense of mystery surrounding Charlotte that was quickly dispelled last night when she came out and basically just \u201cpart of the furniture\u201d when the Smackdown women attacked the Raw women.\u00a0 Perhaps they\u2019ll tell the story that she had an epiphany of some sorts.\u00a0 There\u2019s also the thought that the seeds for Charlotte vs. Ronda Rousey are being planted and last night was just the beginning.\u00a0 Rousey did mention Charlotte in her\u2026.promo (it\u2019s going to take me a while to purge that one).\u00a0 Either way it\u2019s anyone\u2019s guess but her coming out last night did not do the story any favors.\u00a0 Historically when WWE does things like this you detach yourself because the timeline doesn\u2019t make sense.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Who Will Join the Usos and New Day?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>As I said earlier, the Usos defeated the New Day for the right to captain the 10-on-10 Survivor Series tag team match.\u00a0 They then asked New Day to join them on the team, citing their long history.\u00a0 I included the YouTube highlight clips from this segment as I loved the sportsmanship between these two teams:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/l68dGwFwvzU\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Last night on Raw, we learned that Bobby Roode &amp; Chad Gable will captain the Raw team.\u00a0 It will feature the B-Team, the Ascension, the Lucha House Party, and the Revivial.\u00a0 That\u2019s pretty much the Raw tag division folks!\u00a0 Tonight, we find out who joins the Usos and New Day.<em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Frank\u2019s Analysis:\u00a0 There\u2019s not much of a mystery here.\u00a0 You have the Good Brothers (Luke Gallows &amp; Karl Anderson), Sanity, and the Colons.\u00a0 Epico of the Colons was out with an injury earlier in the year but returned in late August to wrestle in a triple threat tag match against the Bar and Gallows &amp; Anderson.\u00a0 Speaking of Anderson his wife recently gave birth, and thus he received some time off.\u00a0 Barring an NXT call-up or some sort of mish-mosh team being put together (Tye Dillinger &amp; R-Truth for example), I would think those three teams would join.\u00a0 What isn\u2019t clear is do all three members of New Day take part in the match?\u00a0 If Sanity is in do all three members take part as well?<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Mixed Match Challenge and Royal Rumble Implications<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>In a somewhat related matter to Smackdown, the winners of the Mixed Match Challenge will be entered #30 in their respective Royal Rumbles in 2019 according to various wrestling media outlets.\u00a0 They will also receive an \u201call-expenses paid vacation to anywhere in the world.<\/p>\n<p>From Smackdown, Asuka &amp; The Miz and Charlotte Flair &amp; A.J. Styles lead the standings at 3-0.\u00a0 From Raw, Ember Moon &amp; Bobby Lashley and Mickie James &amp; Jinder Mahal sport the same records.<\/p>\n<p>MMC airs on Facebook Live following Smackdown.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Start Time &amp; Matches Advertised<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The arena website shows a start time of 6:30 p.m. local.\u00a0 They advertise the following matches:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A.J.
