The programming change will take effect immediatley for the January 15, 2019 edition of the show.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Starting this week, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/205Live?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#205Live<\/a> is heading BACK to Tuesday nights at 10\/9 C!<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/v0dMsmfPug\">https:\/\/t.co\/v0dMsmfPug<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; WWE (@WWE) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/WWE\/status\/1084601026697678849?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 14, 2019<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The move comes after WWE moved its cruiserweight brand to Wednesday nights to shore up that evening&#8217;s content on the WWE Network. 205 Live will still air on Wednesday nights at its usual time, but it will be a replay of Tuesday&#8217;s live version of the show.<\/p>\n<p>To kick things off for the show&#8217;s new time, Buddy Murphy has issued an open challenge to any competitor that can make the 205 weight limit as he preps for his WWE Cruiserweight Championship defense at the Royal Rumble.<\/p>\n<p><em>Heydorn&#8217;s Analysis: Does WWE truly want this brand? The move to Wednesday nights was significant and impactful as it allowed for the audience watching to be engaged with the 205 Live product in an excited an upbeat way. Having to grab a crowd after they&#8217;ve seen the top stars in the company is a vicious task and one that is unnecessary. 205 Live can survive as a taped show. It can thrive if presented correctly.
