PAGEOT, PWTORCH CONTRIBUTOR

Hanan said Kagetsu thinks this will be easy but this is not just a warm-up for her. Kagetsu was putting mousse in her hair while Hazuki spoke. She said she had to hurry to get out there. Hazuki said Nao Yamaguchi has two more shows with Stardom.

(1) WORLD OF STARDOM CHAMPION KAGETSU vs. HANAN – NON-TITLE MATCH

Kagetsu didn’t take the 14 year-old seriously, stopping to take a sip of water and spray it on the Stars women at ringside. As a result Hanan took control and actually dominated for most of the match. Even when she regained control Kagetsu thought she’d be able to pick up the pinfall off of a basic suplex and was surprised when Hanan kicked out. Hanan caught her with a series of roll-ups and near-falls which annoyed the Prime Minister enough that she forced her to tap to an armbar.

WINNER: Kagetsu in 6:41.

(Pageot’s Perspective: A fun one with the cocky champ finding herself in a tougher predicament than she expected against the rookie.)

-Hanan’s sisters said this is Onozaki’s one-year anniversary but they don’t care, they want to win. Onozaki wanted to pick up her first win on her anniversary with Yoneyama’s help. Kid said they had youth on their side, before remembering that the twins are only 12.

(2) STARS (Starlight Kid & Xia Brookside) vs. JAN (Kaori Yoneyama & Leo Onozaki) vs. STARS (Hina & Rina)

Onozaki, Brookside, and Hina started for their teams. Kid pinned Hina with a moonsault off the second turnbuckle.

WINNERS: Kid & Brookside in 5:34.

(Pageot’s Perspective: Poor Leo.)

-Kyona said this JAN combination won the last time they were in Shinkiba and want to win again. Konami said this was the first time she, AZM, and Hayashishita would team together as a trio.

(3) QUEEN’S QUEST (SWA World Champion/Future Of Stardom Champion/Goddess Of Stardom Champion Utami Hayashishita, Konami, & AZM) vs. JAN (Jungle Kyona, Natsuko Tora, & Saya Iida)

AZM told “the fat ones” to get out. Iida raised her hand and stepped forward, not sure whether she was included in that group or not. She and AZM compared how short they both are. Iida got some near-fall roll-ups on Hayashishita but would end up tapping to the torture rack again.

WINNERS: Queen’s Quest in 10:44.

(Pageot’s Perspective: Fine match but nothing out of the ordinary.)

-Watanabe said this is another preview of her forthcoming white belt defense against Miyagi.

(4) OEDO TAI (High Speed Champion Hazuki, Natsu Sumire, & Andras Miyagi w/Nao Yamaguchi) vs. QUEEN’S QUEST (Wonder Of Stardom Champion/Goddess Of Stardom Champion Momo Watanabe, Bea Priestley, & Viper)

Watanabe and Miyagi started. With the referee distracted Yamaguchi clotheslined Viper and Sumire rolled her up but he remained distracted and missed the three-count. Instead Viper hit Sumire with a Michinoku driver for the win.

WINNERS: Queen’s Quest in 11:02.

-Watanabe said QQ wins as usual. She told Miyagi not to forget their white belt match in Korakuen Hall. She’d be going down to the Peach Sunrise. Miyagi just breathed heavily in response.

(Pageot’s Perspective: Again, looking at the six women in this match, you knew Sumire was going to be the one getting pinned. Her mini-feud with Viper is entertaining at least and they’re putting some serious build behind Watanabe-Miyagi. That makes sense as Watanabe’s past two defenses have been my favorite two matches in Stardom this year.)

-Kimura’s worldwide selection spoke in Spanish (Kong), English (Kel), and Japanese (Kimura). Nakano said this was their fourth title defense. If they’re successful they tie the record for the trios titles.

(5) STARS (Women Of Honor World Champion Mayu Iwatani, Tam Nakano, & Saki Kashima) vs. HANA KIMURA, GOYA KONG, & REBEL KEL – ARTIST OF STARDOM CHAMPIONSHIP

The two teams instantly fought into the crowd. Kashima was isolated early on. Kel wrestled in long leather pants instead of her tiny little jean shorts. Iwatani countered a chokeslam attempt into a roll-up on Kel for the win.

WINNERS: Stars in 9:56 to retain the trios titles.

-Kimura looked at Kel like “What happened?!” Kimura and Kel left and the champions posed with their titles and trophy. Kong took a mic and said (in Spanish) that she didn’t care; she was beating Kagetsu for the red belt. She addressed Stardom president Rossy Ogawa and said she was taking his belt to Mexico. Kagetsu walked out in street clothes and held up the belt. Kong shoved her down and left. Kagetsu laughed it off. She said she was going to paint her face the colors of Mexico for their match. She threatened to pick up and throw Kong. “In four days you will see that I’m the strongest, you idiot!” Kagetsu left the mic for Iwatani and took off.

Iwatani said their trio wants to go down as the greatest in Stardom history. She started to address her Women Of Honor title defense against Natsuko Tora. Tora showed up. Iwatani said the winner goes on to Madison Square Garden. She’s not losing. Tora doesn’t get her world dream. They shook hands. Nakano closed out the show.

(Pageot’s Perspective: The match was again nothing particularly special. This was a filler show overall.
