Almost one month later, Taven underwent surgery to repair a &#8220;torn ACL, ruptured lateral meniscus, and torn medial meniscus.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The original goal was to perform two separate surgeries, but the doctor\u00a0was able to perform both surgeries in four-and-a-half hours.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI ha<span class=\"text_exposed_show\">ve never seen a meniscus rupture this bad in my medical career,&#8221; said Dr. Andreas Gomoll.
