However, it appears a trial will happen, barring another delay or last-minute change between Friday and Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p><strong>January 20 Update<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The recurring third character in the Hulk Hogan vs. Gawker legal battle, Judge Pamela Campbell, recommended Wednesday that both sides seek mediation instead of going to trial in Hogan&#8217;s $100 million suit against the website.<\/p>\n<p>Judge Campbell said in Florida court that after reviewing the DVD material of Hogan engaging in sexual acts with Heather Clem, the ex-wife of Bubba the Love Sponge, she believes the attorneys for both sides need to &#8220;go back to mediation&#8221; after they get to review the full DVD content. She added, &#8220;I&#8217;m not going to require it, but I think you&#8217;ll see why.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Attorneys will review five DVDs released by the FBI as part of their investigation into an alleged extortion attempt against Hogan.<\/p><div id=\"pwtor-409218612\" class=\"pwtor-content pwtor-entity-placement\"><div align=\"center\" data-freestar-ad=\"__336x280 __336x280\" id=\"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\">\r\n  <script data-cfasync=\"false\" type=\"text\/javascript\">\r\n    freestar.config.enabled_slots.push({ placementName: \"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\", slotId: \"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\" });\r\n  <\/script>\r\n<\/div><\/div>\n<p>For now, it appears the scheduled trial date in March is tentative following this latest development.
