The company makes desperate play after desperate play to make him your favorite graps guy \u2013 with limited success. How do they do it? What do they do?<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m <b>Tom Colohue<\/b>and this is the <b>Monday Night Reigns-o-Meter.<\/b><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Does anyone remember B Squared? The former Bull Buchanan of Right To Censor, and I\u2019m pretty sure the same guy who backed up the Big Bossman that one time, who was the backup for the Doctor of Thuganometry, John Cena.<\/p>\n<p>I was briefly tempted to go to college for Thuganometry, but I couldn\u2019t deal with the whole never-being-seen-again business.<\/p>\n<p>You may wonder why I\u2019m going on about Bull Buchanan. It might surprise you to know that it\u2019s Erick Rowan-related. You see, Daniel Bryan\u2019s backup is Erick Rowan. In addition to Erick Rowan, though, is apparently another Erick Rowan.<\/p>\n<p>So, Erick Rowan squared, if you like. Only if you like, though.<\/p>\n<p>Before we get to any of this, Roman Reigns appeared on Monday Night Raw to wrestle with Dolph Ziggler. For some reason. Can you find me a reason? I sure can\u2019t think of one. Was it so that Ziggler could fly around when Reigns speared him the same way he was when Goldberg did the spearing? Or maybe like Buddy Murphy did when Reigns speared him. There\u2019s been a lot of flipping around from spears lately.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Roman Reigns vs. Dolph Ziggler: Raw, Aug. 19, 2019\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/enAw1n_vIPI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>So all of that happened on Raw. Oh, also, Seth Rollins became a three-time double champion. You\u2019d think they would have enough people in each division that you didn\u2019t need double champions and yet here we are. Can we assume that Seth will be getting the United States Championship too? Maybe we\u2019ll see Seth and Braun against Styles, Gallows, and Anderson at Clash of Champions? Who knows. Note that none of this features Roman Reigns. Neither did Raw.<\/p><div id=\"pwtor-2909944004\" class=\"pwtor-content pwtor-entity-placement\"><div align=\"center\" data-freestar-ad=\"__336x280 __336x280\" id=\"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\">\r\n  <script data-cfasync=\"false\" type=\"text\/javascript\">\r\n    freestar.config.enabled_slots.push({ placementName: \"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\", slotId: \"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\" });\r\n  <\/script>\r\n<\/div><\/div>\n<p>On to Smackdown, you know, the show that Roman Reigns actually represents.<\/p>\n<p>Roman was a little more involved on Smackdown. He had a moment with Buddy Murphy as their budding romance continued to develop. Eventually the two of them are just going to hug it out and everybody\u2019s going to be much happier for it. The tension was palpable.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, in the closing segment of the show, Roman Reigns casually stood in a room with the man who tried to destroy him. Seriously, one of them has definitely tried to murder him recently, so can we maybe just throw a punch or something?<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=tcvdIFEsEWA<\/p>\n<p>Anybody else remember when Roman tried to murder Braun Strowman in an ambulance \u201caccident\u201d? No? Just me. You\u2019re not innocent here, Reigns.<\/p>\n<p>So we\u2019re left with a puzzle. Was it Bryan? Was it Rowan? Was it Roman? Was it Rowan? Are Rowan and Rowan going to take on Roman or are Rowan and Roman going to take on Rowan and Bryan? How does Samoa Joe fit into this? Who is Buddy Murphy going to wrestle next? Rowan? Rowan? Roman?<\/p>\n<p>My head hurts.<\/p>\n<p>With many, many weeks until Clash of Champions on Sept. 15, this particularly storyline unfortunately looks like it\u2019s going to run and run. Thankfully, there have been many benefits. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=uy7gWJUFK10\">softer side of Samoa Joe<\/a>, for example, and the rise of Buddy Murphy.
