The show drew 3.88 million viewers, up from the year-ago viewership on Tuesday night on USA Network of 2.135 million viewers.<\/p>\n<p>Among all adults 18-49, it drew a 1.38 rating, just over double last week&#8217;s 0.67 rating. In the male 18-34 demo, it drew a 1.28 rating, well over double last week&#8217;s 0.52 rating, and among male 18-49 demo, it drew a 1.81 rating, double last week&#8217;s 0.90. Those demographic numbers are nearly exactly the same as the year-ago numbers, too.<\/p>\n<p>The website TV By The Numbers wrote about Friday Night Smackdown&#8217;s first ratings on Fox:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The champion of Friday night\u2019s broadcast ratings was, unquestionably, Fox.\u00a0The network smashed its way to an easy victory in the second week of the new TV season with \u201cFriday Night SmackDown,\u201d as the WWE came back to FOX for the first time since November 14, 1992. The triumphant return appears to have paid off handsomely, with the event scoring a 1.4 rating in adults 18-49 and drawing 3.87 million viewers.
