The draft theme helped it rise above last week&#8217;s 1.65 rating for the &#8220;season premiere&#8221; episode the day after the Hell in a Cell PPV.<\/p>\n<p>The ten-week rolling average heading into this week was 1.74, nearly the same as this week&#8217;s rating. Two years ago, Raw drew a 1.93 rating. Three years ago, Raw drew a 2.17 rating.<\/p>\n<p>The drop-off in viewership from the first to the third hour &#8211; 524,000 &#8211; was the highest since Apr. 22. It&#8217;s only the fourth time this year there has been a drop-off of more than 500,000 viewers from the first to the third hour. Hourly viewership was: 2.521 million, 2.318 million, and 1.997 million. This week&#8217;s episode went up against a competitive NFL game between two rivals on ESPN, which may have pulled more viewers than usual away from Raw, which didn&#8217;t have an announced main event and instead built toward Seth Rollins searching out Bray Wyatt backstage.<\/p>\n<p>In the key 18-49 demographic that is most closely tracked by networks and advertisers, Raw finished in positions 5, 6, and 8 with ratings of 0.8, 0.8, and 0.6. The NFL game drew a 4.5 rating in that demographic. The NFL pre-show and post-show finished in the next two spots followed by the Major League Baseball playoff game on TBS. TLC&#8217;s &#8220;90 Day Fiance&#8221; landed ahead of Raw&#8217;s third hour in position no. 7 with a 0.8 rating.<\/p>\n<p>The male 18-34 demographic jumped out as being at a five-week low despite the total audience rating being at an eight-week high. Raw drew a 0.59 in 18-34 male demo, barely beating AEW&#8217;s rating for Dynamite on TNT in that demo last week which was 0.48 and well below the AEW Dynamite premiere demo rating of 0.73.
