PAGEOT, PWTORCH CONTRIBUTOR

Onozaki said she lost a three-way to Saki Kashima in the afternoon due to her smarts so she wanted to be the smart one here. Konami wanted to finish this quickly. Nakano was fanning herself. Hoshiki said she was really cute today so Nakano smacked her with the fan.

(1) GODDESS OF STARDOM CHAMPION KONAMI vs. TAM NAKANO vs. LEO ONOZAKI

A bridging German suplex and an enziguiri put away Onozaki again.

WINNER: Konami in 3:44.

-Kamitani said Kyona is a strong power fighter so she wanted to give it everything she had. Kyona said it was time to find out what the rookie was made of.

(2) GODDESS OF STARDOM CHAMPION JUNGLE KYONA vs. SAYA KAMITANI

Boston crab but Kamitani made it to the ropes. Right back into a sharpshooter and there was no escape that time.

WINNER: Jungle Kyona in 10:21.

-Tora said the same thing as always while Hazuki stood by. Hoshiki called them Kato Tag. She said it was supposed to be Katsu (Japanese for victory) but autocorrect changed it to Kato.

(3) STARS: KATO TAG (Wonder Of Stardom Champion Arisa Hoshiki & Saya Iida) vs. OEDO TAI (Hazuki & Natsuko Tora)

Swing-out side slam from Tora to Iida for the win.

WINNERS: Oedo Tai in 10:08.

-Kagetsu and Miyagi said nothing. Sumire and Martina were pre-drinking again and more than a little deep. They also entered from the crowd. Kagetsu and Miyagi attacked them from behind during their entrance.

(4) ARTIST OF STARDOM CHAMPIONS OEDO TAI (Kagetsu & Andras Miyagi) vs. THE DRUNK QUEENS (Artist Of Stardom Champion Natsu Sumire & Session Moth Martina) – BLUE GODDESSES BLOCK

Kagetsu choked Sumire with the Oedo Tai placard at ringside and in the crowd. Miyagi also went after Martina with the placard. Kagetsu pinned Sumire off an Oedo Coaster.

WINNERS: Kagetsu & Miyagi in 3:46.

(Pageot’s Perspective: I feel like all of Martina & Sumire’s pre-match promos should be filmed in a parking lot or darkened stairwell. I understand Miyagi going after Martina as they’d never even met before but Kagetsu was unnecessarily cruel to Sumire. Don’t take it out on her because you’ve lost so much lately.)

-Lucas was pumped up about having a win under their belts. She said this was the World Cup final and they needed to win to win. Kimura & Death chanted per usual.

(5) TOKYO CYBER SQUAD (Hana Kimura & Death Yama-San) vs. TOKYO CYBER SQUAD (Bobbi Tyler & Zoe Lucas) – BLUE GODDESSES BLOCK

Lucas Landslide to Death but Kimura broke up the pin. Death immediately no-sold her finisher and rolled up Lucas.

WINNERS: Death & Kimura in 5:32.

-Hayter was rambunctious about being up 1-0 in the league. Priestley pretended to be sad about having to face her fellow QQ members. Watanabe and AZM said they’d do their best.

(6) TOP GAIJINS (World Of Stardom Champion Bea Priestley & Jamie Hayter) vs. QUEEN’S QUEST (Momo Watanabe & AZM) – RED GODDESSES BLOCK

Hayter pinned AZM with a falcon arrow backbreaker.

WINNERS: Top Gaijins in 9:07.

(Pageot’s Perspective: The gaijins become the first team to win twice in the tag league. Interesting that Hayter’s picking up the wins for her team instead of the red belt champion. Watanabe’s really regressed since losing the white belt. Her pre-match promos feel like the kind of rookie promos that the tweens do and she’s on the losing end of things far more than she was in the spring. It’s a bummer.)

-Kid described this one as another unit confrontation, though I don’t believe Riho is officially a member of Stars yet. Kashima said their costumes would be fun. (She and Iwatani were wearing each other’s gear again.)

(7) HIGH SPEED CHAMPION & AEW WOMEN’S CHAMPION RIHO & STARLIGHT KID vs. STARS (Mayu Iwatani & Saki Kashima) – RED GODDESSES BLOCK

Riho kicked out of Kashima’s Revival and put her away with running knees.

WINNERS: Riho & Kid in 12:14.

-Kid said this was her third time fighting Mayu & Saki. They won the first time, drew the second time, and she won the third. She and Riho asked the crowd to assure them that they believe they can win the whole tournament.

(Pageot’s Perspective: Well it’s a two-horse race in the red block early on while the blue field is pretty even across the board.)

Red Goddesses standings after show 3:
Riho & Starlight Kid – 4
Top Gaijins (Bea Priestley & Jamie Hayter) – 4
Stars (Mayu Iwatani & Saki Kashima) – 2
Oedo Tai (Hazuki & Natsuko Tora) – 0
Queen’s Quest (Momo Watanabe & AZM) – 0
Tokyo Cyber Squad (Jungle Kyona & Konami) – 0

Blue Goddesses standings after show 3:
The Drunk Queens (Natsu Sumire & Session Moth Martina) – 2
Oedo Tai (Kagetsu & Andras Miyagi) – 2
Tokyo Cyber Squad (Bobbi Tyler & Zoe Lucas) – 2
Tokyo Cyber Squad (Hana Kimura & Death Yama-San) – 2
3838 Tag (Saya Iida & Saya Kamitani) – 0
DREAM*SHiNE (Arisa Hoshiki & Tam Nakano) – 0

THANK YOU FOR VISITING

STARDOM GODDESSES OF STARDOM OCTOBER 19, 2019 OSAKA, JAPAN AT OSAKA WORLD PAVILION AIRED ON STARDOM WORLD REPORT BY HARLEY R.
