DGUSA OPEN THE FREEDOM GATE RESULTS
PHILADELPHIA, PA.
NOVEMBER 28, 2009


Thanks to Torch Specialist Travis Bryant for his help with this report. We are still looking for a detailed report from anyone who attended the DGUSA Open The Freedom Gate taping last night. If you attended the show and can file a report, please send it to PWTorchSean@gmail.com.

(1) Gran Akuma beat Nick Jackson and Matt Jackson and Jigsaw and Lince Dorado and Johnny Gargano to qualify for the main event in 12 minutes. Akuma pinned Gargano after a moonsault. This was said to have been fantastic.

(2) BxB Hulk beat Brian Kendrick to qualify for the main event in 14 minutes. This was said to not have been very good. After the match Kendrick ripped on the fans and called himself an artist. Several wrestlers and officials came out to get him to leave.

(3) CIMA beat Mike Quackenbush and Super Crazy and Jorge Rivera to qualify for the main event in 13 minutes. CIMA got the pin on Rivera. Match was said to have been solid with Rivera slowing things down. CIMA and Quackenbush got into a shoving match after the pinfall and argued about the title.

(4) Yamato beat Davey Richards to qualify for the main event in 22 minutes. This was said to have been the an incredible match.

(5) Jigsaw beat Eddie Kingston in a bonus match in 8 minutes. Jigsaw got the win after a top rope double foot stomp on Kingston.

(6) Masato Yoshino & Naruki Doi beat Shingo & Dragon Kid in 21 minutes. This was said to have been an incredible match and a high-end MOTYC. After the match the Young Bucks came out and challenged Yoshino & Doi to a match.

(7) BxB Hulk won the Open the Freedom Gate Title in a Four Way Elimination match. Order of eliminations. (1) Yamato eliminated CIMA. (2) BxB Hulk Eliminated Gran Akuma. (3) BxB Hulk eliminated Yamato. After the match Richards came out and beat down Hulk with Yamato until Dragon Kid made the save.
