Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) "Titannica" show report
April 10, 2010
Reseda, Calif.
Report by Matt Massingham & Luke Fleeman Martinez, Torch correspondents

(1) Brandon Bonham beat Malachi C.K. Jackson with a flip piledriver. Very good match with the younger brother of the Young Bucks showing more improvement each week.

(2) Brandon Gatson beat Ryan Taylor with a front flip sideslam. Gatson is an excellent undercard talent who always puts on strong performances. Ryan Taylor is an emerging heel.

(3) Brandon Cutler & Dustin Cutler beat Johnny Goodtime & Jerome "LTP" Robinson. Cutler Brothers won with a spike Tombstone piledriver on JTP. Good tag match.

(4) Paul London beat El Generico. The finish was London hitting a Tornado DDT off the middle rope, followed by the Shooting Star Press. The match started slow with comedy bits and London entertaining the crowd. They went to the bar to get drinks, and London turned on Generico. London also threatened to remove Generico's mask. London put Generico over on the mic after the match.

(5) Joey Ryan beat Christina Von Eerie with a spear and powerbomb. A good match considering the limitations of an inter-gender match. Von Eerie took some big bumps and had some good offense. This was a good example of how Joey Ryan works his gimmick.

(6) PWG champion Davey Richards beat Roderick Strong via submission with the Texas Cloverleaf to retain the PWG World Title. This was an intense, hard-hitting match, worth the price of admission. Davey and Strong tore down the house and it was easily one of the best matches of the year.

(7) PWG tag champions the Young Bucks (Nick & Matt Jackson) beat the Briscoes (Jay & Mark) to retain the PWG World Tag Titles. The main event was a classic PWG brawl all over the building. Nick Jackson ran in a side door to jump the Briscoes, which led to the all-out brawl, including chair-throwing. This was a strong tag match, with Gen-Me cheating to win.

Another strong PWG outing. The undercard wrestlers put on great matches, and the rest of the show was high quality featuring some of the best independent talent.
