WWE Smackdown brand house show report

(1) Christan beat "Dashing" Cody Rhodes. Good, solid match.

(2) Alberto Del Rio beat Chris Masters. An okay match. Masters got a good pop for his entrance.

(3) Kelly Kelly beat Women's champion Layla in a non-title match. Typical Divas match and quite a few comedy spots.

(4) MVP beat Jack Swagger. Swagger started to bleed from his forehead and the trainer patched him up. The match finished about a minute after he was patched up.

(5) Intercontinental champion Dolph Ziggler beat Matt Hardy to retain the Intercontinental Title. Hardy was majorly over, but he looks so unfit with a bit of a belly on him. He does not look to be in the best of shape.

Swagger, Ziggler, and Rhodes came out and started doing some singing, which brought out the Big Show who did several impressions. First was Stone Cold, so Big Show gave a Stunner to Swagger. Next, he did an impression of Dusty Rhodes and hit the Bionic Elbow on Rhodes. Finally, he did a Hulk Hogan impression and hit the big boot on Ziggler.

C.M. Punk then came out and said he had Vickie Guerrero on the phone. He started to insult Big Show. The best line from when Punk was "on the phone" was him saying, "I'll have to PG down what you just said. This led to a match with Show vs. Punk.

(6) Big Show Beat C.M. Punk in ten seconds with the chokeslam. Punk got helped out of the ring by the ref and trainer. I never saw the "X" sign, so I don't think he was injured, just selling.

(7) World Hvt. champion Kane beat Drew McIntyre to retain the World Hvt. Title. Drew played the face, as he was the hometown hero. Major pops and chants for Drew, and this was match of the night. There were several nearfalls and lots of action outside the ring.

Overall, a good show with lots of funny bits and loads of kids wearing Cena t-shirts.
