WWE Raw house show report

Huntsville, Ala.
Report by Robert Harper, PWTorch reader
(1) WWE tag champion R-Truth & U.S. champion Santino defeated Primo & Epico. This was a comedy match. The heels enraged Truth by mock-attacking an invisible Little Jimmy. They also stole the Cobra sleeve from Santino, but then they fled his sleeve-less Cobra (which didn’t connect). R-Truth got the pin after his finisher.
(3) Tyson Kidd defeated JTG via submission. JTG, who had “Sofa King Flyy” on the back of his pleather jacket and trunks, submitted to the Sharpshooter.
(4) Brodus Clay defeated Jack Swagger with a splash. The Swagglesaurus accompanied Clay and his Funkettes. Swagger had a fairly lengthy (for him) taped promo before the match, proclaiming himself the “maestro of side-parts” and such. Clay mocked and tousled Swagger’s hair a couple of time during the match, and wiggled a-plenty.
(5) Kelly Kelly defeated Rosa Mendes.
(6) John Cena defeated Lord Tensai via DQ after Tensai accidentally hit the ref with the Green Mist. Cena was selling the after-effects from Extreme Rules and Raw, and was only able to execute the AA after the match concluded. He failed in an earlier attempt.
(7) WWE champion C.M. Punk beat Dolph Ziggler in a Street Fight to retain the WWE Title. The match stipulation was decided by the crowd via text message vote over a 2-out-of-3 falls stipulation. Weapons included a kendo stick and several chairs. Punk was unhappy with the success of the stick, so positioned a chair in a corner, which Ziggler eventually met head-on, with a Macho Man elbow drop added for effect. Punk spent a lot of time greeting the front-row fans as he left, and the crowd was happy.
