WEEKEND RESULTS, NEWS & NOTES
CIMA won the 24-man, 3-day PWG “Battle of Los Angeles” tournament over the holiday weekend, and James Caldwell has detailed reports up already, so I won’t reiterate them here. This tournament has typically been the best indy show of the year on the West Coast, and based on Caldwell’s report, it appears the 2007 tournament measured up to the others. So, check out Caldwell’s review, and stop by www.prowrestlingguerrilla.com and buy some DVDs!
There really were few other major indy shows this weekend besides the PWG tourney. IWA Mid-South held a show on Aug. 31, and its streak of no-shows continues, as B.J. Whitmer missed the event. Results of the show are below.
TNA results from Syracuse, N.Y., also have already been posted on the Torch main page.
And you can always reach me with your indy results at chrisjvetter@hotmail.com. I request that you remember to say date, location (including building, city & state!), and full name of the promotion.
