WEEKEND PREVIEW, NEWS & NOTES
Ring of Honor returns to the Midwest this weekend, with a show tonight in Cleveland, and Saturday in Chicago. Full lineups are below.
Meanwhile, Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley and Jake “the Snake” Roberts are on the lineup for the International Wrestling Cartel show on Saturday in Newville, Penn.
Too Cold Scorpio and Trevor Murdoch are slated to wrestle for IWA Mid-South on Saturday in Portage, Ind. With the ROH show that night, a lot of the top, regular IWA Mid-South talent is unavailable.
In other news…
Shimmer Women’s Athletes returns to Berwyn, Ill., on Oct. 19th for another taping, and promoter Dave Prazak reports that he only has two front-row seats left. The Shimmer tapings are a blast, and they have become the hottest ticket in the Chicago wrestling scene in recent years. It’s absolutely amazing.
