Less than one week after being released from his WWE contract, Lance Cade is being advertised for the IWA Mid-South shows on December 5 and 6. Cade will be teaming with his former WWE tag team partner, Trevor Murdoch, for the Chris Candido Cup 2008 in Joliet, Ill.

In the midst of a major TV push in the Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels feud, Cade was released from his WWE contract following an incident on an airplane where he appeared to be suffering a seizure. Fortunately, Lillian Garcia was able to assist him to a medical facility upon landing. WWE then released him shortly thereafter.

Trevor Murdoch (Murdock on the independent scene) has been wrestling mainly on NWA shows since his WWE release a few months ago. Murdock is booked for the NWA's tour of British Columbia, Canada on Nov. 1 and 21 along with Kevin Nash, Rob Conway, and the former Mabel/Viscera/Big Daddy V.

Caldwell's Analysis: We still don't know the full details on what happened to Lance Cade on that airplane or what substances were involved to where WWE would suddenly release Cade from his contract. However, IWA Mid-South turning around and booking him a week after his sudden release from WWE needs to be clarified. Has Cade convinced them he has a clean bill of health or would IWA be contributing to whatever issues Cade needs to resolve prior to taking another wrestling booking and getting back on the road?
