Former WWE star Rob Van Dam recently finished a European tour with several other former wrestling stars that Andrew "Test" Martin was scheduled to be on. RVD says his group was sad sharing old Test stories, but he's becoming too accustomed to death in wrestling.

"We were bummed that we wouldn’t see him again, and all told Test stories to each other, but sadly, we are all used to this routine," RVD said on his website. "After so many of us have died prematurely, it’s almost like we’re trained to handle this, and life goes on."

RVD says he looked around the bus, which was the method of transportation on the tour, and thought some of the people wouldn't be there next time.

"Test's passing put a dark cloud over the whole trip," RVD said. "We all took a look at the bus full of wrestlers, and have to admit to ourselves that there’s a decent chance that next time we all get together, we may be a smaller group still."

RVD says he used to be devastated when wrestlers would die, but now his first question is "Who died this time?," as if it's simply become routine.

RVD is concerned that wrestlers still alive and wrestling aren't learning from Test's death and they "continue to push the envelope."

"Being away from a binding contract that kept me on the road, I often feel like a survivor that made it home from the war," RVD said. "That's not meant to be insensitive to war vets that have experienced far worse than I have."
