Ric Flair addressed a number of topics in a recent interview with syndicated wrestling columnist Alex Marvez this week. (Story link.) Read our first story on Flair saying he wants to come out of retirement and wrestle again. Following are highlights of the rest of the interview.

-- Ric Flair says his son, Reid Flair, "has a disease" of drug addiction and his future in the wrestling business will depend on whether Reid "gets himself put back together."

Flair addressed Reid's recent arrest for heroin possession and how Reid is handling treatment: "The biggest thing about that is that it's a disease. It's not so hard for me to say that after being at an outpatient clinic with him where they talk about a chromosome deficiency causing stuff like that. It's curable, but he's going to have to work real hard at it. He's doing that."

-- Flair said he's enjoyed working with Ring of Honor thus far. He says the company isn't trying to be competition with WWE. This led to him criticizing TNA for focusing on competing against Vince McMahon.

"The people running Ring of Honor are really nice guys and have a lot of integrity, which mean a lot in terms of wrestling promotions," Flair said. "They're not trying to put (WWE) out of business. They just want to have their own business. There's nothing negative unlike in TNA where all they talk about is trying to beat Vince."
