Former WWE and WCW star Lex Luger offered high praise to Bret Hart in his first Q&A video blog answering fan questions.

Luger referenced the famous 1994 Royal Rumble where Luger and Hart fell to the ground simultaneously at the end of the match to set up a mini-tournament at WrestleMania X for the WWF Title. Luger complemented Hart on his professionalism in pulling off the move.

Luger says they practiced the finish a few times leading up to the Rumble, but didn't go all the way through until the actual Rumble match.

"Bret is so amazing. I went back to the top rope and Bret hung on like a spider monkey all the way through. It was amazing how that happened," Luger said in the video blog for promolastevents.com. "I remember Vince McMahon and everybody in the back were so thrilled because they thought they were going to have to cover it up how we landed. We actually hit that mat at the same time thanks to Bret. Bret and I always had great matches. It wasn't a surprise that worked out so well."

Bret Hart, on the other hand, put over Lex Luger for making the spot work. In Hart's book, "My Real Life in the Cartoon World of Wrestling," Hart complemented Luger for his professionalism.

"Lex controlled how we went over, and it was a testament to his skill and professionalism that it came off so well," Hart said (pg. 337, hardback).

In the video blog, Luger says the high point of his career was his run with the Four Horsemen in WCW during the late 1980s. Close second, he says, was his run with the NWO Wolfpack in the late 1990s.
