Dragon Gate wrestler CIMA says the Japanese organization has broken its relationship with Ring of Honor due to a dispute over alleged non-payments from ROH's recent shows in Japan. Ring of Honor says all talent were paid and Dragon Gate broke the terms of their agreement.

"What I can tell you is Dragon Gate no longer has any relationship with ROH," CIMA said on his MySpace blog. "One of the reasons is because we haven't got payment from the past ROH show held in Japan in September 2008. Some of the ROH wrestlers's airfare and their guarantees were supposed be shared between two companies, but the promise had never been kept."

Ring of Honor issued a statement classifying CIMA's statement as "false." ROH says the blame lies with Dragon Gate.

"All Ring of Honor talent was paid in full for these events along with their airfare," ROH said about the matter. "CIMA and the Dragon Gate promotion are very well aware of what agreements they did not live up to in regards to the ROH/Dragon Gate show and why we choose to no longer do business with them."

CIMA says Dragon Gate will continue to promote shows in the United States and work with the PWG promotion in Los Angeles. CIMA says they feel trust is gone with ROH.

"Any business is based on a trust, and we no longer wish to do any business with ROH again," CIMA said. "Dragon Gate wrestlers, however, love all ROH wrestlers as well as all its fans. So we are very sad that this situation is happening."

Caldwell's Analysis: Apparently my dream match of CIMA vs. KENTA will not be happening in Ring of Honor anytime soon. But, this is a classic he-said/he-said issue where there could have been a communication issue that went unresolved sometime before or after ROH ran their shows in Japan that Dragon Gate helped promote. This also explains why Dragon Gate did not have their annual WrestleMania weekend matches for ROH in Houston two weekends ago.
