-- Ring of Honor champion Tyler Black covered a number of subjects related to his health, injuries piling up, and ROH's hard-hitting style in a good interview with Brian Fritz on fanhouse.com worth reading.

Black on changing his mindset to limit highspots to protect his body: "It's something that definitely makes me look at what I do in the ring personally and the bumps I'm taking. It's caused me to be a little more cautious, a little less care-free, less reckless with my body. I never really understood that my body was my job and that it was my investment until recently. And the surgery helps shed some light on that whole situation."

Black on trying to meet fan expectations for the ROH style and not inflicting permanent damage to his body: "There are some times when it feels like too much, when it really, really feels like too much. It's Monday morning and you're having trouble getting out of bed and going to the gym. It feels like I did too much the last couple of weekends. By the same respect, we put ourselves in this situation. The fans didn't ask for this style. We are the ones who offered it up to them and said 'hey, come check us out because what we do is different.' So, it's kind of hypocritical of us to get frustrated with them for having a certain expectation when they come to Ring of Honor shows."
