This week, Jerry Jarrett joined the No Holds Barred radio show and here are the highlights.

He said NWA-TNA opened by sparing no expense. Recently, they had to cut from a $25,0000 a week budget to a $75,000 dollar a week budget. They are slowly but surely making their way back to a more expensive weekly product. However, he said NWA will not throw away money like WCW did.

He noted the merger with Panda Energy was great for the product because they can help with the business end of the promotion. Jerry writes the shows for NWA and he noted that he has not spoken to Vince Russo in about 3 weeks. Russo was offered a deal to have a lesser role in the creative process.

He is extremely happy with the X division as he called the athletes unbelievable. The division is not based on weight but on ability. He also put over Ron Killings, saying they clicked right away. He said the WWE missed on his talent but he admitted on missing on such stars as Sting and the Ultimate Warrior. He said he worked with the Road Warriors in Memphis and has interest in them for NWA-TNA.

He stated he will never have the resources as the WWE but NWA lets wrestlers have a family life as the schedule is far less demanding. Scott Hall missed a few shows due to having babysitter problems.

He thinks his son Jeff will have a title shot soon and they have a great relationship. His greatest challenge is adapting to today's wrestling fan but he continues to strive to deliver a great product.
