TNA News: Notes from Impact taping, Booker T, Scott Hall, Junior Fatu, Sting Mystery Partner Oct 30, 2007 - 5:33:12 PM
-Junior Fatu and TNA were unable to come to terms on a contract. He had been brought in on a trial basis, and like with Test, TNA had reasons after seeing his work and reception, not to offer him what he felt he was was worth. TNA actually announced that Fatu would not be at the taping last night and a lot of the crowd cheered that annoncement.
-Kurt Angle said in a promo last night that Sting's partner at Genesis is a former WCW and WWE Champion. Booker T fits that billing.
-At tonight's TNA Impact tapings in Orlando, Fla., Scott Hall and Booker T have both been "spotted." At last night's Impact taping, Kevin Nash told Kurt Angle in a backstage segment that Hall would be there "next week" (which is taped tonight).
-Also taped last night, A.J. Styles & Tomko wrestled LAX in a 15 minute tag team title defense that was desecribed as being very good.
