The latest video clip TNA published on YouTube previewing the April release of Jeff Jarrett's career DVD focuses on Jarrett talking more about the past. This time, Jarrett discusses the infamous WCW Bash at the Beach 2000 incident with Hulk Hogan.

Jarrett and Vince Russo were upset with Hogan's power plays to gain creative control, so Jarrett laid down for Hogan. Hogan reluctantly scored a pin to win the WCW Title temporarily. Hogan left the building, the result was nullified, and Russo cut a promo on Hogan that created a lawsuit and put the title back on Jarrett.

"Hogan was in. He was out," Jarrett says in the clip. "It was a real unique thing. The Bash at the Beach experience took place and it was a complete disaster on all parts. The company was in disarray."

Jarrett said there was no leadership in WCW, which had been through a revolving door of authority figures including Eric Bischoff, Vince Russo, and Kevin Nash.

"If there is no leadership, there's no way - you can't push a company forward," Jarrett said. "You have to lead by example."

Current TNA wrestler Booker T was then booked to defeat Jarrett in the main event and he won his first World Title. In the clip, Booker describes the events.

"They brought out an old belt. Jeff came out and we just went out in the middle of that ring and we just wrestled," Booker said. "Probably just the best night of my life. Jeff is a true professional. Anyone else in that position that night, perhaps I never would have become champion. Ever."

Caldwell's Analysis: Again, the DVD will be quite the piece of insight into Jeff Jarrett's mind as to how he views events he was an important part of during his career. Hopefully Jarrett has learned lessons from dealing with leadership in WCW, but so much of TNA is following the WCW script - right down to veteran wrestlers phoning in their matches and delivering weak performances in money situations. Case in point: the Against All Odds PPV with a weak, weak, weak main event of Team 3D vs. Sting & Kurt Angle that barely moved into first gear, as they were still fumbling with the keys ten minutes into the match.
