TNA wrestler James Storm says he'll know when it's time to quit wrestling when he wakes up in the morning and he's hurting too much to grab his bottle of Jack Daniels bedside. Seems like a simple measuring stick. Storm says he would still want to be involved in wrestling even after his in-ring career with TNA is over.

"I think if I can't reach my bedside and reach my bottle of Jack Daniels, that's when I'll be in trouble. That's when I'm just gonna stop," Storm told the Oklahoman newspaper to promote tonight's TNA house show in OK City. "I want one way or another to be involved in the wrestling world, whether it be an agent, or some kind of onscreen character that's not wrestling."

Storm was asked for some behind-the-scenes info on what viewers don't know about what happens inside a wrestling ring during matches. Storm said the wrestlers get hurt more often than the average viewer realizes.

He says TNA's philosophy is for wrestlers not to show the audience that they are hurt, though. TNA wants the wrestlers to appear super-human and not show weakness, such as injuries.

"We hit a lot harder than what people think, Storm said. "What we're told is, we're not hurt until we get to the back. Because they don't want the people or the crowd to know that we're hurt. They want them to think that we're like superhuman, you know?"

Storm said all wrestlers deal with pain on some level, whether it's a nagging injury or just taking many bumps the night before. He says it's more difficult to get out of bed in the morning as wrestlers get older.

"Your back's hurting, your neck's hurting," Storm said. "It's just like that movie, 'The Wrestler.' Guys put their bodies on the line and we do get hurt a lot just for the people's enjoyment."
