Former WWE diva Victoria (Lisa Marie Varon) says she left WWE because she wasn't happy with her role on TV and the travel schedule. She says she decided to join TNA when management approached her with an opportunity for a more desirable role with a less-hectic schedule.

At the end of her WWE run, Victoria was slotted in a lower-card role in the Divas division on Smackdown. She wasn't featured as a top female performer in the ring and her character was often the butt of jokes on TV.

"I left because I didn't enjoy my role, and I didn't see it changing," Lisa Marie said on her MySpace page. "That, in addition to the brutal travel schedule, made it an easy choice for me to walk away."

Lisa Marie says she decided to take TNA's offer based on meeting three criteria: continue her MMA training, wrestle on a regular basis, and entertain the fans.

"I believe so to all three," she said. "I still have time to dedicate to MMA. I definitely miss wrestling. And my goal is not only to be the best in a very tough Knockout division, but to elevate the performance of the entire division."

Lisa Marie's first match back on national TV airs tonight on TNA Impact. She says she's in the "best shape of her life" and "at the top of her game."
