TNA Knockout Jenna Morasca defended her heavily criticized "match" against Sharmell at the Victory Road PPV as "purely for entertainment." Jenna said she only had "a few days" to practice for the match, so she's proud of herself for even trying to wrestle on live TV.

"For it being my first match EVER and first time ever doing wrestling moves I am freaking proud of myself," Jenna said on her MySpace page. "I had fun, thought it looked good, and no one got hurt."

Jenna continued her defense by saying she at least tried some moves rather than settling for a WWE diva-style pillow fight or some other farce of a match.

"I have seen matches where literally all the girls were doing was hitting each other with pillows in lingerie," Jenna said. "At least I was doing a cross body, splash, etc. Along with some fun campy stuff like my pin and entrance (which I loved)."

Caldwell's Analysis: Here's the problem. TNA presented the match like a legit one-on-one match! It would be one thing if they booked the match as it should have been - a complete joke like a Hornswoggle vs. Chavo Guerrero match in WWE. But, TNA tried to pass the match off as a legit singles match. I don't think Jenna understands that it's an embarrassment for a non-wrestler with next-to-zero training to be in the same ring as other legitimately-trained wrestlers having the same style of match. She's compounding the problem by trying to defend the match that TNA never should have booked in the first place.
