TNA News: July Impact TV ratings report - Ratings up 10 percent compared to June; comparisons to July '07 & '08

TNA Impact averaged a 1.23 rating during the month of July. Five weeks worth of shows in the month drew 10.5 percent higher ratings than in the month of June, which averaged a 1.11 rating.

Over the same five week stretch in July with Kurt Angle as TNA World champ, Impact averaged 1.7 million viewers, which was 4.7 percent greater than June's average viewership.

July was the third-best month of 2009 for TNA's TV ratings. The company averaged a 1.28 rating in the month of March and a 1.26 rating in the month of April. February was close behind July with an average weekly rating of 1.22.

Looking back to July 2007 and 2008, TNA's ratings have increased dramatically. The company averaged a 1.10 weekly rating in July 2007 and a 1.04 rating in July 2008.

Overall, July 2009's ratings were up 14.9 percent compared to the average of July '07 & '08.

TV viewership in July was up 16.3 percent compared to previous July TV numbers. TNA averaged 1.4 million viewers in July 2007 and 1.5 million viewers in July 2008.

-- July: 1.23 rating and 1.67 million viewers
-- 2009 Average: 1.20 rating and 1.66 million viewers

-- July '07: 1.10 rating and 1.40 million viewers
-- July '08: 1.04 rating and 1.48 million viewers
-- July '09: 1.23 rating and 1.67 million viewers
July '09 up 14.9 percent and 16.3 percent compared to '07 & '08 average
