TNA World Hvt. champion Kurt Angle was allowed to return to his home today after spending the past ten days on the road or in a hotel room. Angle will be back on the road wrestling for TNA this weekend in Texas.

His ex-girlfriend, Trenesha Biggers (Rhaka Khan), spoke publicly for the first time since filing a Protection From Abuse Order on Saturday, Aug. 15 that led to Angle being kicked out of his home and eventually being arrested for violating the PFA.

Angle and Biggers were set for a court date today in Pennsylvania, but it was postponed until September 29 due to an over-booked court schedule. Angle's attorney, Michael Santicola, managed to take a shot at Biggers by saying there were too many other similar cases of "wrongful accusations" that were holding up the court.

Angle maintained that he is innocent of charges filed against him by Biggers, who claimed Angle had a "pattern of abuse" that included bruising and biting her.

"I will be exonerated," Angle said. "We'll see in court, whether this girl was motivated financially or she wanted a relationship with me."

Related to the future of their jobs in TNA, Biggers said an unnamed person in the TNA office told her that by her filing a PFA against Angle, she was forcing TNA to choose between Angle and Khan.

Angle's attorney emphasized in a press conference that TNA was siding with Angle in the matter. Biggers said she knew she would never be able to work in TNA again after taking this step.

Biggers said she had "forgiven" Angle several times in the past for alleged past abuse, but says she has been hurt by Angle de-characterizing her in the media in attempt to clear his name.

"I've forgiven him so many times for what he's done to me, and I've been around him and been fine, but now, he's gone and slandered me in the media," Biggers told reporters after today's court hearing.

Angle's attorney said they have evidence there was no physical abuse in the relationship and they intend to prove it during the next court date.

"We have an individual who has made allegations of abuse. We have evidence that shows it's not true," Angle's attorney told reporters outside the courthouse. "What she has claimed did not happen."

The timeline we learned today was that Biggers claimed an altercation took place on August 6. Biggers then obtained a PFA on August 15, which Angle's attorney says discredits any physical harm against her if she waited nine days to obtain a PFA.

Santicola's assertion does not take into account that Angle told police when he was arrested on August 15 that there was an altercation the previous night, August 14. That aspect of the case still remains unclear and unaddressed by Angle or his attorney.
