TNA wrestler Matt Morgan appeared on the Fight Show radio show with Mauro Ranallo on Friday to hype the Against All Odds PPV and talk TNA possibly moving to Monday nights. The following are highlights from Morgan's interview.

-- Morgan said he's looking forward to Impact moving to Monday nights to force TNA to find out who can "go" and who's not cut out for the current TNA era. He also said he hopes WWE will be pushed to deliver a product that will challenge TNA on a weekly basis.

"I think it puts more pressure on everyone to step their game up - from the writers to the wrestlers to the behind-scenes-people," Morgan said. "If we go live, like I'm hoping it will, it will push WWE. We're pushing ourselves to be a much better, much superior product than what we're doing now because we have no choice at that point. There's no time for half-stepping at that point."

-- Morgan said that, as a fan of wrestling and not related to anything TNA does on TV, he prefers more content on TV rather than heavy dependence on comedy and skits.

"I would like to see wrestling-related content with a storyline between two wrestlers - a good guy and a bad guy and a personal conflict between the two of them - where the conflict gets resolved in a wrestling ring," Morgan said. "To get there, you have to do the interviews backstage and the run-ins here and there. So, I think everything has its place as long as its not over-killed."

-- Morgan previewed his first round match against Hernandez at the Against All Odds PPV by talking up their own game of "one-upmanship" in the ring trying to see who can show off more athleticism in the context of a wrestling match.

"We're both athletes and we're both very fueled by athletic competition and being the best big man in wrestling," Morgan said. He also suggested he's in line for a strong push by talking about TNA building a "beginning, middle, and end" with his character that will lead to him being involved in a top storyline soon after a slow build-up process.

-- Morgan said he's glad TNA dropped the six-sided ring because it was too small for him. He joked that when Kevin Nash and he wrestled in the six-sided ring, they could barely move in the ring.
