TNA wrestler Matt Jackson (Max Buck of the Generation Me tag team) published a new blog describing a rough start to the morning of the TNA Destination X PPV in March that almost caused him to miss the Ultimate X match at the PPV.

Jackson detailed the Young Bucks's rough travel schedule before the March 21 PPV and waking up that morning feeling like his head was spinning as panic set in.

"I splashed my face repeatedly and started panicking. 'I've got an Ultimate X Match tonight on live PPV, I'm not going to make it if I'm like this!'" he said. Jackson recalled taking an herbal medication to calm him down before he and his brother, Nick Jackson, flew to Orlando for the PPV after working a show for Jersey All-Pro Wrestling the night before.

"Why did this happen to me? Lack of sleep? Stress? I'm not sure exactly. My brain was cloudy all day but Nick really helped carry the work-load that night," Jackson said. "This is why we are where we are. We're a team. The Ultimate X match turned out being even more than I expected. It was easily the biggest match of our careers."

Jackson ended the Ultimate X story by saying, "I'll look back years from now and remember that the morning of that day, I didn't even think I was going to make it to the show."

Also in the blog, Jackson talked about an informal reunion with WWE wrestler Bryan Danielson (Daniel Bryan) and Ring of Honor officials during WrestleMania Weekend the following weekend. Jackson wrote about his final shows for Dragon Gate USA that weekend and recalled an interesting story from several months ago when the Young Bucks, Danielson, and Jimmy Jacobs were working for ROH before Danielson was signed by WWE.

It's hard to believe that a few months ago Nick and I were sharing a room with him and Jimmy Jacobs in Philadelphia after a set of ROH TV tapings. I remember Jimmy getting on Bryan's case as we spoke about our futures in wrestling. All of us seemed uncertain but excited. "Bryan, if you don't call Shawn Michaels right now and tell him you'd like a job, I'm going to do it for you!" Bryan responded, "Jimmy, it's 3 a.m.!" He yelled back, "So what! He won't mind!"
