TNA wrestler Kurt Angle says his moonsault off the top of the cage in his match against Mr. Anderson at the Lockdown PPV was not planned.

In an interview with Ring the Bell Radio, Angle described the moonsault, his nasty-looking fall during his ladder match with Anderson last month on Impact, and his belief that Anderson is one of the "all-time best" entertainers in wrestling.

"Once you go out there and the adrenaline kicks in, you do things you normally wouldn't do. At the last PPV I was in, I did a moonsault off the top of the cage. That was not in the plans," Angle said. "It was one of those things where I got to the top rope and I was going to hit my moonsault, but the fans started cheering and I thought, 'oh, boy.' I went up there, said a quick prayer, and thank God I came out healthy. I was a little nervous when I got up there. It was a long, long fall. It was probably only two seconds, but it felt like 20."

Regarding the ladder match with Mr. Anderson on Impact last month prior to their match at Lockdown, Angle said his spill to the floor wasn't planned either.

"I got knocked out briefly. I landed right on the back of my head. That wasn't in the plans. I was going to grab the rope and roll down off the ring, which is dangerous enough, but I missed the rope. I turned my body sideways trying to grab the rope, but I fell backwards on top of my head," Angle said. "That's another thing I'll never do again. That was one of those things that wasn't planned and I was expected to do that."

Angle rated the ladder match up high on his personal list due to the finish with the choke-out. He transitioned into putting over Mr. Anderson huge and saying it's hard for him to keep a straight face during their promo exchanges.

"He is so entertaining that it's hard to keep him heel. We've done a good job of doing that, but in the future, I don't see him being a heel much longer. Sometimes when I'm out there doing a promo with him, sometimes I'll want to crack and start laughing."

"That guy is a big, break-out star that WWE never really gave a chance. Vince McMahon having him, I am really confused that he did not utilize him even as a top character above John Cena. I think Mr. Anderson is most definitely one of the most-entertaining wrestlers today and of all-time. I put him right up there with Ric Flair."

Also in the interview, Angle said it's possible TNA will be bringing a PPV to Pittsburgh in the near future with TV ratings strong in the market and TNA recently touring the area with a house show tour.
