Former TNA employee Jim Cornette has a new rant on TNA management and WWE's Hall of Fame in his latest "Cornette Commentary" on the Who's Slamming Who podcast. As expected, Cornette directed his TNA comments toward TNA president Dixie Carter, Vince Russo, Hulk Hogan, and Eric Bischoff.

Cornette started his rant by fielding a cynical question on whether Hogan and Bischoff are part of a conspiracy to undermine TNA after being paid off by WWE and Vince McMahon.

"They could have made more money from Vince than from Dixie to do the same thing they're doing now if they were smart. It just happens that everyone who tries to fight Vince is so stupid that they basically play right into his hands without getting anything out of it," Cornette said.

Cornette continued his sardonic rant with a touch of cynicism directed toward McMahon, saying Hogan and Bischoff could have gone to McMahon and been paid more money to undermine TNA than they'll make in TNA with their current method of running the promotion.

"After all, he (McMahon) practices the same predatory business practices that he always accused Ted Turner of," Cornette said. "But, they didn't even do that. They just waited until Dixie, for whatever money she would give them, under the assumption that she thought they would actually help her business. Of course, Russo has contributed greatly to that. And now they're not even making half the money they would have made if they went to Vince and made that offer."

Cornette then ranted on the WWE Hall of Fame being a "marketing tool" and being "worthless" to him because McMahon decides who he likes and doesn't like each year. Cornette picked up another rant on TNA after giving his opinion that management is in turmoil.

"Hogan and Bischoff sold 'em a bill of goods. From what I understand now, Dixie is starting to see through Hogan. Of course, she has yet to see through Russo, which has been her bigger problem for a lot longer, but now you have a company paying a fortune in salaries - probably two or three times more than what they were paying a couple years ago - to do ratings half as good," Cornette said.

"It's a shame for the guys who have been down there giving their all working their hardest to build this company. It's a shame for all the office people who have worked so hard and creative has let them down. It's a shame that this mark, little Southern belle with her rich father started this company that had the only chance of anybody chasing Vince McMahon."

Regarding the expected talent cuts, Cornette said it wouldn't be surprising if they cut the mid-card wrestlers who haven't been put through the WWE machine and spit it out for TNA to use.

"They have to pay some of the senior citizens on the payroll. And everyone knows when Vince Russo is involved with a failing proposition, he's not going to blame creative, so the wrestlers are going to take the brunt of the blame. Just like the comedy writers in WWE. 'Oh, we don't have anything for these guys, so we're going to fire them.' Fire the creative. Fire Vince Russo, fire the over-the-hill gang, and get back to wrestling," Cornette said.
