The following are key news and notes from today's TNA Impact TV taping in Orlando with follow-up on last night's Victory Road PPV and the start of hype for the Hard Justice PPV next month.

-- TNA suggested TNA World Hvt. champion Rob Van Dam vs. Abyss for the TNA World Title will be the main event of the Hard Justice PPV next month. The match will essentially be an extreme warfare-type match with weapons of all sorts involved in the match.

-- The ECW Invasion angle began at today's taping and Mick Foley returned on TV to "oversee" the EV2 group's attack on the TNA roster. To give the angle a jumpstart, Tommy Dreamer, Raven, Rhino, and Stevie Richards led the group in a brawl with TNA wrestlers, agents, security, "Orlando police," and virtually everyone backstage.

At the end of a wild brawl to conclude Impact, the EV2 group will include RVD, Dreamer, Raven, Rhino, Richards, Brother Devon, and TNA agents Al Snow and Pat Kenney.

The show will close with TNA president Dixie Carter playing the "mother role" telling the "boys to stop fighting" and announcing that she invited the ECW group to TNA. That's the cliffhanger for next week's show.

-- As part of the Hard Justice PPV being an "extreme night," per TNA's advertising, the PPV is expected to be filled with ECW-type match-ups, including former ECW wrestlers returning for one-off matches. It could be unofficially titled One Night Stand III.

-- The TV main event on this week's Impact will be Jeff Hardy vs. Jay Lethal. In the "main event segment" after Hardy vs. Lethal, Ric Flair had a "get his heat back" promo after his loss to Lethal at the PPV. Flair and Fortune then bailed before the ECW Invasion angle started.

-- New TNA tag champions Motor City Machineguns and Beer Money started a Best of Five series feuding over the TNA tag titles. The first match in the series will be a ladder match on this week's Impact.

-- Mr. Anderson and Matt Morgan started a new feud. Anderson also reinforced his babyface turn by saving saved "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero from a beating by Morgan, who will be in a match against Pope on Impact. Months ago, Pope and Anderson were in a heated feud.

-- Kevin Nash appeared before the live crowd and started a feud with Jeff Jarrett, apparently over issues from the 1990s as they apply to Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff. Jarrett was then involved in the ECW Invasion angle at the end of the show.

-- The feud between X Division champion Doug Williams and Brian Kendrick will continue in a re-match from the Victory Road PPV. The match on Impact will be an I Quit match.

-- In Divas action, Taylor Wilde and Sarita will have a Street Fight. Also, the Beautiful People will have a long-form promo exchange with another appearance by the unidentified mystery biker, who is Tara.

-- Kurt Angle did not appear before the live audience. TNA also did not announce the new Top 10 Contender's Rankings to the live audience.
