During yesterday's TNA Impact TV taping for the July 22 episode, a fan ran into the ring following a match between Mr. Anderson and Matt Morgan and interrupted a post-match angle. The fan was described as a teenage boy.

What we've gathered from those who were in attendance at the taping is that the fan grabbed Mr. Anderson's arm after the match. Morgan then attacked Anderson from behind as part of a post-match angle, with the teenager still in the ring. Morgan apparently shot the fan a look, leading to him scampering out of the ring.

One person in attendance described the fan running away as the classic spot where a referee jumps out of the ring to sell for WWE's The Undertaker when his character acts intimidating.

Anderson and Morgan continued the post-match angle after the fan left the ring, but some reports have questioned whether the run-in affected the execution of the storyline. The Torch has confirmed that the rest of the angle went on as planned after the run-in and the wrestlers will not need to re-shoot it for TV. The run-in did not hurt the angle.

Caldwell's Analysis: I'm surprised the staff at Universal Studios didn't catch the fan before he jumped in the ring. At the TV tapings, there are approximately 20 staff members in bright yellow t-shirts swarming the Impact Zone monitoring everything that happens inside that soundstage. They're like yellow jackets buzzing around the building.

I doubt the run-in will make air, but people in attendance have indicated it was quite the sight. As Jason Powell reported on Prowrestling.net, there was joking backstage that Morgan should have taken out the fan for his run-in. Apparently Morgan pulling an "Undertaker glare" worked just as well to scare the poor kid.
