Friday's edition of the "TNA Today" web show includes TNA trying to make sense of the ECW Invasion angle that started on Thursday night's episode of Impact.

Jeff Jarrett and Jeremy Borash, the host of the show, walk through the entire angle as video of the show-closing brawl is shown on a split-screen. Borash brings up several of the over-riding questions on the angle, with Jarrett giving kayfabe explanations.

One of the key points during the angle was TNA agents Al Snow and Pat Kenney putting "the sacred cause" of ECW ahead of TNA. Jarrett played that up by saying they should have been fired, kayfabe, if Dixie Carter didn't make the announcement that she invited the ECW group to TNA.

Also playing into the storyline, Jarrett questioned Carter's judgment inviting the ECW group to TNA when they started a brawl with the TNA roster. It seems to be setting up another power struggle storyline involving Jarrett, this time with Carter.

Caldwell's Analysis: If you're looking to make some sense of the angle that played out on Thursday, check out the TNA Today web show in the video below. It doesn't mean the angle is all-of-a-sudden the answer for TNA, because it's not, but Borash and Jarrett at least try to make sense of it.

Also, an interesting clip on Friday's web show is a preview for an upcoming TNA DVD documenting the early years of TNA running the weekly Wednesday night PPVs at the Asylum in Nashville. The clip is Mike Tenay telling a story on A.J. Styles and Vince Russo ribbing him on the air during a Halloween episode.
