-Smackdown Open.
-Batista came out, and we got a video package on the Punjabi Prison Match. Batista said of all the matches he’s been in, there has been nothing like a Punjabi Prison Match. He said it sounded more like a Chamber of Horrors. Oh boy, I hope that’s not foreshadowing. On the video screen, Khali interruped Batista. He said Batista would lose the championship on Sunday. Batista responded by saying Khali has no idea what it’s like to be locked in a cage with an animal. Michael Cole announced that Khali would face Rey Mysterio later tonight.

-Vickie Guerrero announced on WWE.com that Hardy & MVP would defend their tag titles tonight against the former champs, Deuce ‘N Domino.
1- CHUCK PALUMBO VS. ACE STEELE
Chuck rode down on his bike with Michelle McCool. Palumbo grabbed Steele’s leg and gave him a short clothesline. Suplex followed that up, but Steele kicked out of a pin attempt. Steele tried to fight back, but was caught trying a cross-body, and Palumbo hit a fall-away slam. Belly-to-belly suplex by Palumbo. Running boot sent Steele to the mat. Palumbo then hit his finisher, “The Full Throttle” for the win.
WINNER: Palumbo at 1:33.
Immediately after the match, Chris Masters attacked and applied the MasterLock. Did I miss something? Wasn’t Palumbo feuding with Dykstra? Then again, after the squash last week, I guess they’re moving on. Palumbo got back to his feet, trying to break the hold, but couldn’t do it. Masters left Palumbo lying in the ring.

2- JIMMY WANG YANG VS. JAMIE NOBLE
Cole reminded viewers how big a match this was, after Vickie Guerrero convinced Hornswaggle to give up the cruiserweight title last week. Who says “abdicate” in everyday conversation? Noble with a take-down, but Yang popped right up. Front face-lock turned into a waist-lock by Noble. Yang couldn’t get away from the Hanover, WV native. Yang finally got away after a flip, and applied a wrist-lock. Noble took control once again with a rear chin-lock. Yang got out of it and hit a few hard chops. Enziguri followed. Yang went for a pin and only got two. Noble choked Yang on the middle rope and hit a bodyslam in the middle of the ring. The crowd was dead for most of this, so Noble tried to get them back in the match. European headlock by Noble. While Noble applied a neck vice, the crowd woke up with a “Hornswaggle” chant. Back suplex was reversed by Yang into a cross-body that got a near-fall. Noble wasted little time and went back on the attack. In desperation, Yang used the turnbuckle to his advantage. He then came off the top with a missile dropkick. Another shot to the head from Yang, then a spinning heel kick. To the top again, Yang hit a high crossbody for about 2 ½. Noble ducked out of the way of a moonsault, but Yang landed on his feet. He tried to catapult himself onto Noble but Jamie caught him and hit the gut-buster for the victory.
WINNER: Noble at 7:04.
-A DivaSearch video aired.
-Matt Hardy and MVP will defend later tonight against Deuce ‘N Domino.

3- MVP & MATT HARDY VS. DEUCE ‘N DOMINO- WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Before the match, the champions had a pushup competition. MVP won, only because he interrupted Matt’s pushups by hitting his arm. Matt and Domino started things off. Matt went on the offensive first, then tagged in MVP. Surprise, they had a mis-communication. Hip-toss, then an arm-drag, make that two, from MVP. Matt tagged in, but Domino was able to back Matt into the heel corner and Deuce came in. Matt fought back with a clothesline, then caught Deuce coming into the corner, and hit him with a boot. Elbow to the back of the head off the second rope by Matt. Twist of Fate was blocked, though MVP helped Matt out by taking care of Domino. Matt flew off the top rope onto both challengers on the outside, just before MVP was going to take them out. And we take a break.
[Break]
Deuce had Matt down in a front face-lock out of break. A tag to Domino brought in more abuse for Hardy. Bodyslam, but Hardy kicked out at two. Deuce back in, and he caught a back-elbow from Matt. He tagged MVP, who was quickly kneed in the gut. Then Porter was able to catch Deuce coming off the ropes, and throw him over his head. Drop-toe hold by MVP, and he went off the ropes only to get low-bridged by Domino. Double-team off the tag to Domino and the heels continued to dominate. Deuce hit a right hand, then requested a kiss on the cheek from Cherry. MVP was able to move out of the way of Deuce and almost made a tag, but Domino came in and cut him off. Deuce dumped Montel Vontavious Porter to the outside, and he was worked over by the illegal man as well. The heels worked over the back and neck area of MVP. A cover by Deuce got a very near-fall. Boston crab was applied by Deuce, and MVP inched closer to Matt Hardy in the corner. Deuce quickly left MVP and blasted Hardy off the apron. Domino was tagged in and MVP woke up the crowd with a small package for two. MVP pushed off Domino with his legs and finally tagged Matt. Hardy hit a cross-body on Domino, then a clothesline and an elbow. He knocked Deuce off the apron, then nailed Domino with a bulldog. Domino battled out of a Side Effect, but Hardy rolled him up for two. Deuce got hit with the Side Effect, and as the ref was distracted, MVP hit Domino with a low blow and Hardy hit the Twist of Fate. Champions retain.
WINNERS: MVP and Hardy at 18:57.
As Matt and MVP were walking back to the locker room, the fire exploded and Kane came down to the ring. MVP ran, remembering what happened last week. Kane is in action next.
[Break]
4- KANE VS. KENNY DYKSTRA
This match was joined in progress. Kane was squashing Dykstra, and hit a big back body-drop. Chop and some punches in the corner from Kane. Dykstra caught Kane with a back elbow, then ran into a boot. Victoria was at ringside with Kenny. Her distraction led Kenny to get in some offense, until Kane put him down with an uppercut. Blocked suplex by Kenny, and he went after the knee of the Big Red Machine. Kane was back on offense in a matter of time, and hit a seated dropkick on Dykstra. Dykstra came back with a dropkick of his own. He slipped out of a powerslam and once again went after the knee. After a short offensive burst, Kane hit two clotheslines in the corner, then a sidewalk slam. To the top, Kane hit a clothesline. Chokeslam was delivered for the W.
WINNER: Kane, 4:36 shown.
-Highlights of Undertaker’s Smackdown return were shown.
[Break]
-A look back at Teddy and Kristal’s wedding, where Teddy suddenly fell ill.
-Backstage, Vickie Guerrero was talking to....God, I couldn’t tell which diva that was. And I guess it didn’t matter, because the bickersons walked in. Matt wanted MVP to face Undertaker, but Vickie suggested Undertaker & Kane vs. Matt. MVP was all about that, but then Vickie suggested a tag match with MVP inserted as Matt’s partner.
-Michael Cole announced the injury of John Cena, then we went to highlights of the match. Cole announced that Cena would miss six months.
-Still to come, Khali vs. Rey as we got a look at the Tale of the Tape.
[Break]
5- JESSE & FESTUS VS. MIKE TOLAR & CHAD COLLYER
Jesse did some mic work before the match. The bell rang, and Festus finally had a different look on his face. He started things off and used some power moves against both jobbers. Double-clothesline by Festus. He hit one of the men with a headbutt, then tagged in Jesse. Monkey-flip out of the corner by the saner of the two. Hip-toss was blocked by another monkey-flip by Jesse, then a back body-drop. Sunset flip from the apron by Jesse only got two. Some double-team work by Collyer and Tolar allowed them to take the advantage. Jesse and Collyer fought it out and Collyer hit a nice gutwrench suplex. Bodyslam but a missed elbow by Collyer. Jesse kicked Collyer away and tagged Festus to a decent pop. He slugged away at Collyer in the corner, then dumped Tolar, who tried to intervene. Beal out of the corner followed by a big boot by Festus. Festus had Tolar up for a powerslam, then sat down, jamming his shoulder into the gut of Tolar for the win.
WINNERS: Jesse & Festus at 4:04. Festus went back to his dumbfounded look after the bell rang to end the match.
-Next, Rey Mysterio vs. Great Khali.
[Break]

-Rey vs. Khali is next! Really this time.
-A video package previewing the match aired.
-Rey Mysterio came out for the match.

6- REY MYSTERIO VS. THE GREAT KHALI
Mysterio used his speed to get away from Khali in the early going. He worked up to hitting and running, kicking Khali’s legs then running away. Khali shoved him away, but the big man couldn’t capitalize. He finally slowed Rey with a big clothesline. Khali grabbed Rey and threw him into the corner. All these comparisons by the announcers, making Rey out to be a child, can’t be gone for him. Hard whip by Khali into the turnbuckle that got a gasp out of the fans. From behind, Khali grabbed Rey and worked on the trapezius of the former World Champ. Rey got back to his feet, and was able to grab the rope to break the hold. Khali grabbed Rey and applied the hold again. Rey hammered away at Khali’s mid-section, but Khali kicked Rey, who went flying through the ropes. Khali went to the outside after Rey. He tried to chop Mysterio, but Khali hit his hand on the steps. Rey scampered into the ring and dropkicked Khali, who was trying to get back in. After hitting a 619 on Khali, Rey went to the top. Finlay interfered for the DQ though.
WINNER: Rey by DQ at 5:58.
Khali and Finlay proceeded to double-team Rey and Khali even put him in the vice grip. Batista came out for the save, hitting the spinebuster on Finlay and the spear on Khali. Batista grabbed a steel chair from ringside and hit Khali with it. That drove Khali out of the ring. Batista stood tall as the show ended.
