If TNA's goal was to leave me frustrated and confused, I would rate it a 10. There were two decent, albeit short matches, but those were the only positives I can see on this show. I have no idea what they are building towards, other than Samoa Joe vs. Scott Steiner and AJ Styles vs. Booker T; but who are the faces and who are the heels? Styles and Joe both attacked Steiner and Booker T, usually something a heel would do. The MCMG were cutting a babyface promo and were jumped from behind by Creed and Lethal, so who are the heels in this feud? The interviews were bad, except for Cornette who vainly tried to make sense out of the illogical booking. Firing Petey Williams shows just how backwards this company is. The one bright spot for TNA: Beer Money rules!

Greg Parks, PWTorch.com Contributor (4.0)

Kurt actually made an OK case for having an empty arena match
during his promo. Having a no-holds barred street fight lessens the impact of what we'll see in the empty arena match. The Frontline is a mess with no discernible leaders, so I was surprised they discussed it so much during the tag match. The match was like a spot-fest on speed. The acting in the Mafia locker room after the empty arena announcement was embarrassing, especially Booker T.

The Beer Money challenge could be interesting. The fake Sarah Palin needs to go (or at least get rid of the gimmick). Taylor Wilde's promo was quite heelish. The Dr. Stevie segment was at least shorter and more focused this week. The only good thing about the six-man match was that LAX rightfully cleaned house on everyone. The Hardcore History segment continues to be pointless. Steiner telling Lauren to take her clothes off was just plain uncomfortable. Sojourner Bolt has been in Kongtourage for how many weeks, and they've already got dissension.

Love vs. Wilde was fine, but featured some of the worst refereeing I've seen in a while. The tag title match wasn't bad. It's amazing how better Rhino is on the mic when he's not screaming. At least they built the empty arena match to seem like a big deal. That's something TNA doesn't do often enough. The split screen showing the fans and the empty arena gave the match a unique feel. But the feud itself is so scatter-shot, the match only does so much to help it.

Curtis Shanks, PWTorch.com Contributor (6.0)

At first, I was excited about where TNA would go with the infighting between Kurt Angle and Sting. The clear result is an all-out babyface turn for Sting, although he may drop the title along the way. There has been a very slow build up to the erupting point last week after Angle failed to win the title at the PPV two weeks ago. Angle clearly will not forgive Sting, and the interesting aspect is the other three Mafia members. Nash, Steiner and Booker could align with either Sting or Angle if their attempts at reconciliation fall through. Sounds like a pretty good storyline except for one forgotten aspect. The Frontline. It seems as though we will focus more on the Mafia's own troubles, rather than one's created by the Frontline members. The whole goal of this story should have been to put over the young guys, the guys who created and are responsible for TNA still being around. But that seems like an afterthought now that we have shifted focus solely to in-house matters.

I'm sad to see Petey Williams' TNA departure. He's never been my "favorite" wrestler, but you can't argue that he has wrestling ability and was able to put on good matches night after night. Hell, he even made Scott Steiner look good in the ring on a few occasions. It's not as thought Petey had a huge ceiling with the company, but I could think of a few other names I'd rather not see on my TV from this point on than Make Believe Muscle.

The X Division opener was a solid match, but forgotten in the shuffle as the show progressed. Slow things down a tad, give them five more minutes, and for the love of God some follow up as well, and you would have had a fantastic TV match segment. Rounding out the show was the women's feud, which continues the trend of forgettable Knockout segments. Daffney needs a new gimmick and the division badly needs some new blood to freshen things up.

Daniel Wilkenfeld, PWTorch.com Contributor (3.5)

I like that they tried to do something different. Ending on backstage reactions was a change of pace, and the empty arena match, like the classic Foley-Rock halftime bout, had a different, mo/Fvie-like vibe. Unfortunately, as Mick himself observed in "Foley is Good," that vibe and wrestling just don't jive very well. The show mostly petered out. The other matches were a collection of nothings and two decent tag matches, and the promos (outside of decent performances by Booker T and Steiner) were nothing special (at best). To top things off, they wrote off Petey Williams, and I can't think of any way that'll lead to anything good for the product.
