Announcing at the beginning of the show that record ratings for last week's show was smart, announcing that record was 2 million people, less than ECW most weeks, was not. The booking insanity continues. Madison Rayne turned heel already? Why did she turn heel? Why should anyone care? She hasn't been around long enough for this to mean anything. Same goes for Sojo Bolt. AJ Styles and Samoa Joe, both are supposed to be the faces, again attacked the heels they are feuding with, making them the heels and Steiner and Booker the faces.

Now we have Don West and Mike Tenay feuding? What is the payoff for this angle? It's hard to believe how far the TNA women's division has fallen since the departure of Gail Kim. A year ago, it was one of the best things in TNA and now its unbelievably bad. A decent ladder match, but why was it a ladder match for the title on free TV? I am really confused about the Sting-Angle-Jarrett deal. I like that they are trying to build this feud to mean something, but why is Jarrett trying to make a match where if Angle wins, he becomes Jarrett's companies champion, if Angle was trying to break Jarrett's leg and threatened his family four weeks ago? Why doesn't Kevin Nash want a match to happen where Angle could win the title?

Curtis Shanks, PWTorch.com Contributor (5.0)

Last night's Impact was hit or miss for me, with the main miss being that there was just too much going on. By the end of the show I had forgotten half of what had happened because nothing was allowed to sink in. The hype was well done for the Sting vs. Angle match-up next month, as we are still unsure of their true intentions. The greatest intrigue is not what will happen between Sting and Angle, but what will happen to the other three Mafia members once tempers flare between the two. Forgotten again on tonight's show was the Frontline. It seems as if they gave up on their mission and quietly moved on, with only A.J. Styles and Samoa Joe wanting to carry on with the destruction of the MEM.

While most of it was not exactly logical, the Booker T segments tonight were funny. Booker was great in his role, especially when he ignored the officers question of "where did you get the police tape?" While I don't mind hearing stories about Mick Foley and his wrestling past, they should not be the only thing he is doing in TNA right now. Foley was a huge acquisition for TNA, and you can't tell me that the writers have already run out of ideas for his character besides telling stories and making a run-in every few weeks.

The Don West storyline came out of nowhere, which is why I find it interesting. Right now, I don't have a clue where they are going with this. This could lead to the departure of either West or Tenay, but aside from Foley (who has stated he won't announce) TNA does not have anyone that could slot in and fill their roles. We may see Chet Lemon or Black Snow in the coming weeks if the Mafia dissolves and Tenay and West can't get along. The Beer Money challenge is predictable every week if you have the Internet, but still accomplished the goal of getting heat for the duo. The X title ladder match could have been great (TNA even sent out a text message before the show hyping the match), but was not given enough time or build to make it seem significant.

Daniel Wilkenfeld, PWTorch.com Contributor (6.5)

This week was a definite step up from last. The main event promo was actually emotionally stimulating, and the main event match was a fun (if criminally short) X Division bout. Even Suicide's role was spot on. Once again, TNA's odd decisions about whom to push meant the women's division held back tonight's show, which you really wouldn't think could be possible. Rhaka Khan is the new Black Reign (if with more long-term potential).
