James Caldwell, Torch Assistant Editor (n/a)

I simply can't rate an all-video package show where the final 45 minutes of the show consisted of video packages, commercials, and a divas match. No ECW champion Jack Swagger. No Evan Bourne. No Tyson Kidd. No Tommy Dreamer. WWE was obviously on a tight schedule taping TV last night in Dallas with Smackdown and before Raw, but this showed how little stock WWE puts in ECW TV to sell a PPV. Sure, it's the C-Brand, but they have the top announce tandem in the entire company at their disposal to sell the PPV with interview segments or fan interaction segments they could have utilized to bring the PPV to life instead of relying on tired video packages.

Christian taking the opening tag loss continues the trend of Christian taking his post-TNA lumps until WWE decides whether they want to give him a legitimate push. I doubt he'll win the Money in the Bank match, but he'll be fighting for the next five weeks of TV time with his performance in the match at WrestleMania 25. WWE booking Kane and Mark Henry strong on back-to-back nights gives them something to work with after Mania since it's also highly doubtful either one will win the MITB match.

Brian Hoops, PWTorch.com Contributor (2.0)

One of the worst ECW shows in quite some time. Very little wrestling on the show with most of the content being recaps of the feuds via video packages. Video packages are great, but whatever happened to using a straight forward wrestling promo or interview to build a match? Christian sure has been doing a lot of jobs since joining ECW, in normal WWE booking, that would mean he is in line for a big push. I was so thankful I recorded this show so I could fast forward through most of it.

Greg Parks, PWTorch.com Contributor (3.5)

OK, you've got to look at this show from WWE's point-of-view: For some people, this is the last show they'll watch before Wrestlemania, so all the video packages and hype jobs are supposed to get those on the fence to buy the show. In that way, I think WWE succeeded because they sure were heavy on recaps. There was no mention of Jack Swagger or Evan Bourne, but this was the go-home ECW show, and if they're not on Wrestlemania, why show them? It just REMINDS viewers that they're not going to be on the PPV.

Still, I have to be consistent in my ratings from show-to-show, and this plain didn't entertain me. I'm already sick of seeing all the MITB contestants in the ring. Congratulations WWE, for nearly ruining one of the most un-ruinable (?) matches out there. The divas thing was fine but I don't know why they're putting the focus on the two ladies to build the tag match for WM, unless they do something on Smackdown.
