Brian Hoops, PWTorch.com Contributor (5.0)

I thought this was an average show for TNA. There were some entertaining segments and glimpses of good wrestling action, but there were too many instances of what continues to plague TNA, and that is a lack of logical storylines, attention to detail, emphasis on wrestling and silly backstage segments. It was great to see the MCMG given some mic time on two consecutive weeks. They are a great act and could really break out if given the chance. In fact, most of the good on this show revolved around guys who have breakout potential. The Guns, Christopher Daniels and Lethal Consequences segment was pretty good and nice to see the young guys involved in a program that doesn't include them being buried by the veteran talent. Beer Money vs. Eric Young/Jethro Holliday was a decent tag match and the 10 man tag was decent for what it was. The build for Sacrifice isn't as strong as the build for Lockdown, but that can change over the next two weeks.

Greg Parks, PWTorch.com Contributor (5.5)

As much as TNA over-does the stipulation matches, I think the main event at Sacrifice where you literally have to put something on the line is interesting. It creates some real intrigue heading into the show and makes the championship even more important.

There were some decent matches on the show, including the ten-man tag and Creed vs. Suicide. However, Matt Morgan vs. MEM security was in negative-star range. I think variety would be good for TNA, in that they shouldn't start EVERY show with the Mafia coming out. It was funny when they panned the crowd and a fan had a "TNA Frontline" t-shirt, and I was like, "what is that again?"

I could take or leave the "Daniels IS Suicide" angle, though Alex Shelley on the mic reminds me of Chris Jericho, circa WCW, when he was the comic heel. And I liked the way they ended the show, with Sting announcing that he's putting his career on the line. Good hook for the PPV and for next week.

Curtis Shanks, PWTorch.com Contributor (6.0)

Sacrifices are being made, and Sting announced a big one to close the show this evening. Plain and simple, if he's pinned, he's done. This was a great way to end an episode, as it will be the last thing people remember about it. I'm not excited about another multi-person match to main event a TNA PPV, but the sacrifice stipulations are adding some intrigue. Right now, either Foley loses the title, Angle is not the Godfather, or Sting is gone. All three of those could lead to some great storylines and some compelling episodes of Impact. But I'm getting ahead of myself, TNA still has a few weeks to mess it up. Or they could add a fourth person to the match who has a stipulation that is easy to predict and a lot less compelling.

I'm enjoying the "who is Suicide" segments, and not just because they are a nod to the smart fans who watch the show. It makes sense that those who work closely with Daniels and Suicide would eventually put two-and-two together and begin making assumptions. The ending of this storyline does seem a little predictable, as Daniels and Suicide will probably share the same ring once Kaz is healed from his injury, disproving all those who have called him out.

There was nothing sexy about tonight's show, but it chugged along and got the job done when needed. There seemed to be more recap videos and interviews than usual, as the purpose of this weeks show was just to get to the main event to take the next step with Sting's character and his wrestling future.
