Wade Keller, Torch Editor (4.0)

Well, a lot happened, that's for sure. A newsworthy show that forwarded a number of storylines, and probably the lowest dose of Main Event Mafia in months, which was refreshing. A terribly flawed show in all of the usual categories, but much more interesting to watch than a bland, lazy, underbooked show, but the potential TNA management and creative leaves on the table each week due to the "Low Booking IQ" undisciplined tics and bad habits never ceases to be disappointing.

Foley's "one title defense per year" proclamation is awesome. The missing piece is for the announcers to begin to address the pink elephant, which is that Foley's body is broken down and he has no business in a wrestling ring, and he's using his deviously attained corporate power to cling onto an in-ring career that should have ended years ago... How do you score a show that was both much better and much worse than Raw on Monday, which I regretfully scored a 3.5 but deserved a 2.0? I guess I'll revise my Raw score to a 2.0 and give this show a 4.0. I'm intrigued with a few storylines and enjoyed the few minutes we were gifted of Styles-Daniels and some good one-liners, plus some return/debuts to spice things up, but remain so frustrated by the unnecessary droppings they step in throughout the two hour show.

Shane McKinley, PWTorch.com Contributor (5.5)

A spiffy Impact built on cool-as-hell storyline developments designed to make Impact fans giddy. However, the show was saddled with the same TNA terribleness namely in, you guessed it, 'wrasslin. Sting taking charge and firing those scowling security guards along with Sharmell-Jenna was groovy, but it doesn't mean that these nitwits are off television forever. Joe is a wannabe hitman. I'm happy with him killing a jobber. Come on, Joe. Cross the line.

Big ups to Foley working on his heel character and not showing us insane things like the inside of his minivan. We don't trust TNA in what could happen with Eric Young in his push. I can only assume TNA doesn't know how to execute Wiliams vs. Deaner in a regular match, so they had to throw in yet another ladder match and a merit-less X Division briefcase. Styles and Daniels could have been executed better. Raven, Victoria and Shane Douglas showing up in TNA made me smile, but it's all about next week to see if it means a damn thing.

Greg Parks, PWTorch.com Contributor (4.5)

Of all the things on this show that really bothered me (and there were quite a few), the worst was the British Invasion defending a briefcase they stole from LAX. The worst part is that TNA has gone this route before. How can TNA management allow them to defend something they stole? And if you're the British Invasion and you have a briefcase you don't deserve, what's your motivation for putting it up for grabs? Just mind-numbingly stupid.

I'm not sure what Amazing Red or for that matter, Sojourner Bolt, did to deserve the title matches they received. Both matches were throw-aways and for the Knockouts, it was just a means to get to the post-match happenings (as happens to often in TNA). The Mafia in-ring interview with Sting was nice, especially getting rid of the dead-weight security. But Samoa Joe threatening to kill Kurt Angle killed whatever momentum that segment had. I'm actually intrigued about the Dr. Stevie/Raven relationship as it relates to Abyss. Richards has played the part of therapist quite well.

Speaking of dead weight, nice of the Beautiful People to get rid of Kip James again. Hopefully, it's for good. Mick Foley's announcement wasn't exactly earth-shattering, but it was a good segment. I liked Eric Young going heel and no turns in the Team 3D-Beer Money trophy presentation. The new faces made this a more newsworthy show, but not necessarily a better one.
