-Announcer Tim Dixon opened the show from the NWA Charlotte Coliseum. This week's episode will feature a TLC Battle Royal to crown the first ever NWA Charlotte Cruiserweight Champion. Dixon warned this match could get crazy.
-Footage from a previous edition of NWA Charlotte TV aired of Reid Flair, David Flair, and Brad Anderson defeating Jeff Lewis, C.W. Anderson, and Masked Superstar from a card on 4/11. Due to the fact that Reid Flair pinned NWA Mid Atlantic Heritage Champion Jeff Lewis in the match, NWA Charlotte President J.D. Costello awarded Reid the title.
-In the ring, NWA Charlotte President J.D. Costello said he had some bad news regarding the 4/11 match involving Reid Flair and Jeff Lewis. Before he could speak his mind, Jeff Lewis' music interrupted and he entered the ring. Lewis claimed this would be good news. Lewis said Reid Flair wasn't the legal man during the match and asked how his title can change hands in a six-man tag match. Costello blew a gasket, but said his hands were tied. Costello tossed the title to the mat to return it to Lewis. Costello told Lewis he would be defending the title against an NWA legend that has never been seen in the southeast before. Lewis said it wouldn't matter if it was a Flair or an Anderson.
1 – JEFF LEWIS vs. CAMERON VALENTINE
Dixon said Cameron is a third-generation superstar being the son of Greg "The Hammer" Valentine and the grandson of Johnny Valentine. Valentine came out in a robe covered in hearts and had the exact same hair style as his father. Lodi mentioned they must have the same barber. The crowd started chanting "Hammer." Both men exchanged collar and elbow tie-ups. Valentine connects with a pair of hip tosses and works over Lewis' left arm. Lewis attempts a leapfrog, but Valentine punches him in the face. Lewis takes control with a thumb to the eye. Valentine charges and Lewis throws him to the floor. Lewis beats down Valentine at ringside. Valentine does a flop bump on the entrance ramp just like his father would. Back in the ring, Lewis chokes Valentine on the ropes. Valentine escapes a headlock and executes a sunset flip for a nearfall. Lewis regains control with a clothesline. Valentine with a dropkick and a back body drop. Valentine hits a powerslam for a nearfall. Valentine connects a low dropkick and sinks in the figure four leglock. Lewis manages to reach the ropes. Lewis rolls up Valentine and puts his feet on the ropes for leverage to get the cheap win. Lewis celebrates on the ramp while Valentine looks disappointed in the ring.
WINNER: Jeff Lewis in 8:48 to retain the NWA Mid-Atlantic Heritage Championship. Decent action. Interesting if you've never seen Valentine before.
2 – CRUISERWEIGHT BATTLE ROYAL TLC MATCH
The winner of this match will be the first ever NWA Charlotte Cruiserweight Champion. Ring announcer Eddie Rich explained that the last five men in the battle royal will fight under TLC rules to crown the champion. Participants included: Joey Silvia, AJ Summers, Bo Newsome, Myric Moore, Nick Wiltson, Josh Magnum, Ostgard, Xsiris, Dylan Kage, and Malachi with manager Ty Dillinger. Not sure on the spelling of all those names. The announcers explained that Dylan Kage had some sort of a five-minute pass for the match, but manager Ty Dillenger purchased it from him and Malachi gets to sit out the first five-minutes.
Nick was tossed out early on. Kage throws Moore over the top to the floor after a thumb to the eye. Newsome tossed Ostgard out and then Kage superkicked Newsome over the top as well. Malachi enters as the contest turns into a five-man TLC match. Magnum suplexes Malachi on the entrance ramp. Kage immediately runs out and gives Magnum a neck breaker on the ramp. Xsiris climbs to the top and takes them all out with a senton. Silvia hits an Asai moonsault on everyone. Back in the ring, Kage german suplexes Silvia into a ladder in the corner. Xsiris hits a missile dropkick on Kage. Malachi smacks Xsiris with a chair across the back. Magnum dropkicks the chair into Malachi's face. Magnum climbs the ladder, but Xsiris knocks him off. Malachi back suplexes Magnum onto a ladder. Xsiris stops Malachi from climbing the ladder. The cheap ladder is already badly twisted and wobbles under a person's weight. Silvia slingshots himself through the ropes and spears Kage. Cool move. Kage gives Silvia a double underhook suplex onto a ladder teetering against the ropes. Malachi throws the ladder at Xsiris to take him down. Four guys do the tower of doom spot in the corner. Magnum sets up a huge ladder at ringside. Magnum climbs the ladder and puts Kage through a table with a swanton bomb. Malachi took this opportunity to grab the huge ladder and set it up in the ring. Magnum and Malachi race each other up the ladder. Magnum reaches through the ladder with a leg and kicks off Malachi before grabbing the belt hung above.
WINNER: Josh Magnum in 11:02 to become the first NWA Charlotte Cruiserweight Champion. Fine for what it was. Total spotfest. Things were happening so fast you couldn't comprehend it all.
