The Kevin Nash vs. Mick Foley segment was perhaps the highlight of the show, and I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not. It was a good job done by two of the best talkers in the business, but I don't know that it did much for their PPV match. There wasn't much in-ring stuff to speak of, aside from the main event. Styles and Morgan had three solid matches on Impact in their series; I've been pleasantly surprised. I'm not sure how I feel about Morgan's supposed turn, but it's just to build intrigue for the PPV I suppose.

Nice to see the show open with a match rather than the Main Event Mafia. The Rhino/Jesse Neal stuff continues to defy logic- who am I supposed to cheer for here? They've built this team/feud terribly, and it hasn't helped that they seemingly go months without even featuring them on TV. The Bobby Lashley sit-down didn't interest me; take a guy who has little mic skills and doesn't come across as interesting when talking and sit him down for an extensive interview? Not the best idea.

Curtis Shanks, PWTorch.com Contributor (6.0)

The story tonight was the surprise victory by Matt Morgan, putting him in the main event title match at the PPV this Sunday. I'm all for a surprise every now and then, as well as building up new stars and putting fresh faces in the main event mix. But the repercussions may have been too steep, as this also means we won't see A.J. Styles in a match. Sometimes a swerve is not the best option, and this was one of those cases. More than likely Morgan align with Kurt Angle and cost Sting the title, and TNA will provide yet another swerve, albeit a predictable one.

I was hopeful that a lot of the mid-carders that have recently aligned with the Mafia would get a nice rub from working with the main-event guys, but that doesn't seem to be the case. A deal with the Mafia only equals being squashed by Hernandez, although it's hard to argue with the push he's received lately. It would seem like a bad idea for TNA to give Bobby Lashley tons of promo time, but it's actually worked out nicely in my opinion. The sit-down with Mike Tenay still showed he's not a great promo guy, but allowed Lashley to talk casually in a more believable way.

The build for the Team 3D match has been done nicely. Unfortunately, the promos between the teams will probably be better than the match itself. TNA did a decent job of hyping the upcoming PPV, but a lot of the match-ups still don't interest me. There are nine matches on the card, but I could probably only list five or six if you were to quiz me. Not a good sign for a company with minuscule PPV buy numbers.

Daniel Wilkenfeld, PWTorch.com Contributor (7.5)

This show progressed a few PPV feuds nicely, but I never care much about that. As its own show, it was a mixed bag. It started off very slowly, but picked up very well for the last three segments. Foley and Nash were brilliant, Morgan and AJ put on a good match (that was helped by the absence of a mid-match commercial break), and the ending was well done (though I worry about its implications for Sunday). The end of the show is the largest determinant of what I take away from it, so the solid final half hour lifted it to a 7.5.
