Greg Parks, PWTorch.com Contributor (7.0)

I can't remember the last time I gave a TNA show higher than a 6.0. Sure, this show had the usual head-scratchers, like Taz, after all the hype of Samoa Joe's mentor, moving quietly from that spot to the announce position after about a month of doing nothing; Matt Morgan apparently being an idiot and REALLY thinking he could trust Angle, even though it seemed like a swerve from the beginning, and there just HAPPENED to be a mis-communication between them in the match. But other than those relatively minor nit-picks.....good show.

I liked the idea of a street preacher from New York City for a gimmick, but you'd think you'd want to show vignettes of him preaching or giving him some mic work to show off the gimmick; instead, Dinero wrestles two straight matches without hearing from him. Again, minor complaint. A tweak, if you will. The women seemed to get a lot more time on this show, which was a positive, but I'm not sure about adding yet another belt to the company. That seems like overkill. Matt Morgan was his usual self in the opening promo; perhaps WWE gave him the stuttering gimmick as a way for him to slow down on his promos.

The main event was fine as far as in-ring action, as was the rest of the show. I liked the edict of referees having more control in the matches, but I also wonder how long that'll last before it's back to business-as-usual. While Styles and Sting had a nice promo exchange, I couldn't help but think that if this were WWE, a message is being sent to someone. Anyway, wasn't Sting fighting against the group Styles was leading not too long ago because he didn't think they respected the business? And sorry, but I'm siding with the guy who wants to spend time with his family. Whoops....thinking too much about things again. No Nash, Steiner, Booker, or Foley in the ring certainly helped. There. I'll end it on a positive note.

Curtis Shanks, PWTorch.com Contributor (7.5)

I've praised TNA in the past for usually ending their shows on a strong note, but this week was the exception. Matt Morgan shined in the opening segment with some great promo work and a setup for a good storyline based main event. Unfortunately, I was left scratching my head at the result. Is Morgan really that idiotic to align with Angle again? Did he go from heel - to face - to heel again in two weeks?

Aside from the closing segment, the show did deliver this evening. The two teams in the street fight to kick off the show delivered some great energy. The Brits are growing on me a little more each week. The infomercial segment with The Guns was pretty funny. I'd rather see them in matches and even contesting for the tag titles, but this was better than nothing. A.J.'s farewell address, followed by Sting's fantastic promo was a bit corny at times, but was great overall. Good promo work from A.J., a guy who's never really stood out on the mic.

D'Angelo Dinero had an impressive Impact debut. I'm not psyched to see him feud with Suicide, but he is over with the crowd and displayed good charisma. He could be the next guy to jump from the X Division to a more prominent spot. The "debut" of Dixie Carter will be something to watch next week as well. With Jim Cornette's disappearance, Jeff Jarrett's unknown status, and Mick Foley's inconsistency, this may be a way for TNA to introduce a new authority figure to run the shows.

Daniel Wilkenfeld, PWTorch.com Contributor (6.5)

This show was going along very well till the anti-climactic main event. I could take this week's episode as the first part of a two-parter, but even in that regard the non-ending failed to make me want more. Everything till then was solid-to-great. I might retroactively bump this up or down, depending on what they make next week of this week's ending, but for now let's go with a 6.5.
