James Caldwell, Torch Assistant Editor (4.5)

There was nothing wrong with this week's episode, but it was "just a show" without any reason to really watch the show if you missed it. There is no hook right now to the ECW brand, which is why the show draws the same 1.0 rating and 1.3 million viewers every...single...week.

Christian and Shelton Benjamin are playing video games and talking about "stealing the show" at the PPV, but there is no issue in-play between them on TV. It's just basic, mindless stuff that doesn't have any purpose or a hook for viewers looking for a reason to tune in. WWE hasn't given Christian much to work with since becoming the ECW champion, so it's high time to move him to Smackdown where the babyface roster needs a serious boost.

Ezekiel Jackson and Kozlov's ongoing issue is just there. It's not like either guy is an intriguing character, as Kozlov brings awkwardness and Jackson just brings a big body with little charisma. At least they have William Regal to carry their "character development" segments, as Regal is the most interesting man on the brand.

Croft and Beretta have potential. Vance Archer didn't offer much with his promo, but WWE hasn't given him much to work with either. Meanwhile, Yoshi Tatsu was missing and we were given Paul Burchill begging for his job back. Burchill was actually half-way entertaining nodding along with Tiffany explaining why he couldn't get his job back, but, again, there just isn't much to work with. This whole show was just mindless, basic TV where 85 percent of the content was completely skippable.

Dominick Mayer, PWTorch.com Contributor (5.5)

This, to me, felt like one of those "just there" shows for the most part. The only real development was the furthering of the Roundtable dysfunction. Only problem? They're not that interesting. I'm not looking at all forward to the Jackson-Kozlov blow-off match. Kozlov has improved since his ill-fated main event push, but he still needs to be in the ring with someone who can make him look good. And speaking of uninteresting, what have they done to Zach Ryder? Not only was his Tom Cruise bit irrelevant by about four years, but they've totally killed one of the most promising characters on the show.

On the positive side, the main event was serviceable. I don't want to encourage WWE to improperly build feuds, but I don't think Christian-Shelton needs much of a build. Put those two in a ladder match and it will be awesome. Plus, I'd rather little build than an awful one (see: Series, Survivor; Raw main event). The Goldust-Regal match was fine, though again the show was about the Roundtable this week. One final note: Good luck to Trent Baretta and Caylen Croft. I don't envy the work of any tag team trying to enter WWE right now.

Greg Parks, PWTorch.com Contributor (5.0)

Thumbs up for ECW trying to get Zack Ryder and Rosa Mendes' relationship over further; thumbs down for doing it terribly, on the Abraham Washington show. Goldust vs. Regal was fine, and it continues the break-up of the Roundtable. But what's the pay-off? Zeke Jackson vs. Kozlov? Who wants to see that? They haven't been together long enough for anyone to really care about the break-up.

Caylen Croft and Trent Beretta show promise, but there are literally no other tag teams on ECW right now. I liked their finisher, but I wish they came in with their FCW nickname, "The DudeBusters." Vance Archer's interview did nothing for me; he's got an intriguing look, but until ECW finds something to do with it, he doesn't have much else to offer. The main event was a solidly worked match, thanks in part to the faces leading the heels through the motions.
