James Caldwell, Torch Assistant Editor (8.0)

This was a very strong episode of Superstars book-ended by a stand-out tag match and another solid match-up between Jack Swagger and MVP in the main event. Dolph & Dr. Knox vs. Cryme Tyme in the opener was a memorable, DVR-viewing-worthy match and all four wrestlers really performed at a high level, especially Knox with that leaping dropkick mid-way through the match. Dolph continues to work hard in the ring to earn another look for a Second Tier slot on Smackdown. He's been one of the most consistent wrestlers on any of the three rosters the second-half of the year.

Swagger vs. MVP is due for a rubber match in this current series after each wrestler split a match on Superstars the past two weeks. WWE doesn't seem to want focus on either one on Raw, so I'm inclined to believe they'll put them on Superstars again. It would be nice to see the Superstars showcase matches turn into a ten-minute match on Raw. But, if the options are three minutes on Raw or another featured match on Superstars, then I'll take Superstars.

Vance vs. Tommy was fine. It filled the five minutes in ECW's usual second quarter-hour timeslot and continued to expose Vance to the audience. They haven't done much with Vance yet, but at least Dreamer provides a good base to draw heat on Archer.

Jon Mezzera, PWTorch.com Contributor (7.0)

After a bad Raw and a bad ECW (although not as bad), it was nice to see a good wrestling show from WWE this week. Of course, a good Superstars isn't as good as a good Raw, ECW or Smackdown, but at least there were two good matches that went over 12 minutes each. Cryme Tyme vs. Ziggler & Knox was a good opening tag match. I was happy to see Cryme Tyme facing a team other that The Hart Dynasty. The match featured good wrestling action and I was particularly impressed by the drop kick from Mike Knox. The announcers did a nice job during the match as well. I also liked the main event, MVP vs. Swagger. These two had a good match on Superstars last week, and this week's was a little better. They work well together and we will likely see the rubber match between them next week. I do hope to see more of them both on Raw in prominent roles in 2010.

The only bad thing about this show was the Raw Rebound. I didn't like sitting through it on ECW, and I didn't want to sit through it again. Raw stunk, and I don't need to be reminded of it. Everything else was fine on this show. Even Vance Archer vs. Tommy Dreamer was better than their first match on last week's ECW. My only complaint is really about Raw.

Greg Parks, PWTorch.com Contributor (7.0)

I liked the opening tag match, and if WWE isn't going to do anything with Ziggler and Knox as singles wrestlers, it wouldn't hurt to put them together for a short-term feud with DX or something. Dreamer vs. Archer was fine, but I'm begging WWE to come up with something to make me care about Archer. I'd accept a gimmick change to "wrestling dentist" at this point.

The main event was solid, as Swagger seemed a bit more toned than I've seen in the past, and a bit more aggressive as well. Perhaps he's heeding JR's and others' advice to take his game up a notch. I think he's got more upside than MVP, so I would've liked to have seen him pick up the win here.
